While looking for a self-service laundromat, I stumbled upon Baohaus in Taiwan. It reminded me of the Michelin Bib Gourmand Baohaus in Busan, Korea, so I stopped by, wondering if it was the same place. I visited for lunch but it was closed, so I came back in the evening. The food was delicious. I'm not sure if it's the same place, but I highly recommend it! It completely took the edge off my long trip. I highly recommend Hong Xiao Niu Rou Mian. They don't serve it for lunch, so visit in the evening.

We went to this place to try their bao and had the classic Taiwanese bao (very good!), the Peking duck bao (also good), the mushroom teriyaki bao (not memorable), the sweet potato (good), and the fried chicken + popcorn chicken bao (I wouldn't recommend them).
Overall, we liked it ✨ Not 5 stars, but we'll definitely be back.

Very nice place, well organized and attentive to customers.
We ate there for the second time and it is always a pleasure.
We ordered two Bao, one with chicken and one with duck. In addition, we asked for appetizers, including fried chicken and grilled meat ravioli (so good that I took some home to cook).
The dessert of the day was a fried bun filled with ice cream. A dream!
We washed it all down with a typical drink and a beer.
Compliments also to the waitress who looked after us for the meal!

Luogo molto piccolo con pochissimi tavoli.
Menù piccolo con poche pietanze ma preparate molto bene.
Piatto forte ovviamente i gua bao.
Ma anche gli antipasti e i noodles sono molto buoni.
Assolutamente consigliato.

Sublime food, really tasty and freshly prepared. Very adequate quality-price ratio and fairly low waiting time.

Mostly Bao, the classic Taiwanese bao (Bao Guao) with beef and chopped hazelnuts is excellent, the bao with Peking duck is also recommended
