Balma Meris In Valdieri

I had lunch on a Sunday. Very friendly and helpful staff. The polenta concia was exceptional! Even the appetizers are very genuine and with local products. Definitely recommended!

We ate lunch on the way back from a trip, and, despite the time, the service and courtesy were impeccable. Welcoming atmosphere and the food... Super! With local specialties. Considerable attention to gluten-free and lots of choice. Family-run that makes you feel at home... How could you not have celiac disease and be pampered! Very high quality-price ratio. We will also return to stay a few nights in the hotel! Thank you and see you soon!

We had dinner at Balma Meris and we were super satisfied! I think I ate the best plin of my life here, in addition to an excellent braised meat. Also noteworthy are the very cute bear-shaped desserts and biscuits 🐻 A round of applause to the owner, very kind, helpful and who also told us many anecdotes of the area. Definitely a recommended restaurant and one to return to as soon as possible!

We stayed two days at the Balma Meris inn on a half-board basis. We found the room comfortable, welcoming and suited to the mountain context in which the property is located. The bed was large and comfortable. We really enjoyed dinner because they mainly use local products to prepare typical Piedmontese dishes. Breakfast is not self-service, but is served and guests can enjoy homemade cakes and pies, jams, fruit, cheeses and local cured meats. For us who are very selective about coffee, we found it well made. A special appreciation goes to Cinzia, who runs Balma Meris, she was really helpful, courteous and friendly, providing us with all the information on the area and advising us on excursions not to be missed in the area. Definitely our reference structure in the Gesso valley. A stay above expectations.
