A quest for originality that sets it apart from the usual, more traditional fish restaurants. The dining room is pleasant, the service excellent, and the dishes truly match the photos: a touch sophisticated, with very high-quality ingredients. A clear desire to do things well and be different is also reflected in the tableware. Okay, just one small point for improvement, which doesn't detract from the overall very positive experience: a little more attention to the waiter's attire, perhaps trousers that better reflect the restaurant's level. But again, a minor detail! Don't hesitate!

We came for lunch at this small restaurant in the center of Turin. The place is very welcoming and has a pleasant atmosphere. All the dishes were delicious and well-prepared. Only the octopus was a bit salty, but the owner explained the reason. Well done! I'll gladly return.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Baleno, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience marked by standout service and some memorable dishes. I have to start by extending a huge thank you to Martina. Her service was the definition of professional—kind, courteous, and incredibly attentive. We truly appreciated the genuine care she took in serving us. The food, for the most part, lived up to high standards. I started with the raw seafood, which was tasty & fresh, a must for any quality seafood establishment. I tried the gnocchi with mussels and guanciale. It was an interesting, bold pairing of land and sea that worked quite well. The cod in the main course with its sauce was truly delicious and i enjoyed eating every bite of that dish. A small note on dessert If there was one area that fell a bit flat, it was the dessert, a bit of "nothing special" in terms of taste. The overall experience was lovely and I definitely recommend Baleno for anyone looking for a quality seafood meal.

A small restaurant in the heart of Turin. After walking past it many times, I decided to give it a try. There's limited seating, and the atmosphere is quiet and refined. The menu is interesting, with two tasting menus. We ordered two Baleno tasting menus and a few à la carte dishes. The welcome offering of tuna tartare was very welcome. The appetizers were exceptional, both the taco, with a truly well-balanced mix of flavors, and the artichoke tartare of the day. Next up was the spaghetti, delicious and spectacular thanks to the smokiness. We mopped up the pasta with bread. The first course with bottarga was also very good. As for the second courses, the octopus was a bit too salty, even though it was perfectly cooked. The turbot, on the other hand, pleasantly surprised us; it was excellent. The fried artichokes were beautifully prepared, with matching sauces that perfectly enhanced their flavors. The hazelnut tiramisu was a bit too sweet for my taste; I preferred the other dessert. We spent about €60 per person (two tasting menus, a first course, a second course, a dessert, a bottle of sparkling wine, water, and barley), which I'd say was fair. The only downside was that the tasting menus on their website are priced at €45 and €55, but once we got to the restaurant, we were surprised to find the prices higher. We didn't say anything at checkout.

The best place to eat fish in Turin. Innovation and tradition blend perfectly. Excellent wine selection. For me, this is now a guarantee of a great value dinner. Congratulations!

We've been to this seafood restaurant several times, and I waited to review it for fear of giving it the wrong rating, but it deserves it! The fish is incredibly fresh, the dishes are beautifully presented, varied, and delicious. The attentive and accommodating service is fantastic!
