Bákxos In Messina

Located on the Tyrrhenian coast of Torre Faro (ME), discovered by chance after hearing the neighbor under the umbrella talking about it. A quiet place for lunch, good food, and background music at the right volume. The beach could use some more upkeep, but overall it deserves top marks, given the kindness of the staff and the excellent selection of wines by the glass.

Good quality food, top-quality ingredients, except for the white bread, which doesn't fit on a €13 sandwich. Nice place, a bit neglected. It wouldn't take much to make it unique.

Very nice beach with excellent aperitifs

The cafe is nice on the seashore, the prices are good, but the portions are very small (with other establishments, for example, if you take squid or octopus 🐙, then the serving is with lettuce leaves, without potatoes, like in most establishments. If you are hungry, then order either two portions or something else 😋
