Ristorante Bakaro - Osteria & Co. In Venezia

A typical Venetian Bacaro with a large selection of cicchetti. Highly recommended 👍🏻

I went on the recommendation of a Civitatis guide. When we arrived, they seated us at a high table for three, but after about 10 minutes, while we were still waiting for them to take our order, they told us we had to move because they had a large group and needed to combine tables. We didn't mind, but they put us at a small table in a rather dark corner. We ordered the carbonara, which was a bit bland and tough, some spectacular ravioli (but they only brought six), and the pappardelle was good but didn't quite win me over. The restaurant itself is very nice; the only downside was that they had two very large tables where people wouldn't stop singing and shouting. We were unlucky. In the end, we had to go to the till to pay since no waiter was coming to us.

An excellent place for dinner in Venice. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming. The service is fast and friendly. The burger is excellent.

Great atmosphere. Nice selection of local wines. The octopus starter was delicious. The carbonara was tasty.

Delicious pasta. The ambiance of eating outside and sipping on some wine is unmatched. It’ll get a little noisy, but it’s fun. The staff is really friendly.

Very good experience, the food is amazing like really one of the best in Venezia, the waiters all kind and we had I think one of the best table next to the winery. Thanks bakaro

A lovely restaurant somewhere in Venice. The staff is extremely friendly and motivated. The dishes – Caprese, Carpaccio, and pasta – were simply fantastic! Highly recommended!

I had dinner at this restaurant about a month ago. I had paccheri with seafood, which was almost tasteless; it tasted like frozen mixed seafood. A second course included polenta and squid ink, the latter soggy and strangely flavored; I had the impression it was also frozen. On the other hand, the tiramisu was delicious. The dinner wasn't terrible, but it wasn't to my liking either, which is why it got three stars.

Wonderful atmosphere. A stand out in Venice for casual yet elevated food.
