Baja Sardinja, near my studio, is a small Sardinian fish restaurant where every dish is really, really good: the quality is always very high and the authentic flavors really remind you of Sardinia.
One of its strong points is the wine list: it is in fact one of the few places in Milan where I found my favorite Vermentino, Funtanaliras, which I always drink when I am in Sardinia.
The place is quite small and often very crowded, so I recommend booking. The prices are quite high, but in line with Milanese standards for the quality of the fish.

I would like to start by saying that you eat really well at honest prices. The portions are generous, the flavors are well-balanced and the products are excellent. Nothing to say about the food except compliments! Unfortunately, I cannot give full marks to the location either: the place is small and the tables are very close to each other. This means that when the waiters pass by the tables they inevitably bump into you, especially in certain places. The acoustics really need to be reviewed: when there are a lot of people, you can't talk to the person in front of you. The service is "rough" but also very efficient and very fast. I would review these little things to improve it even more, the starting point is very good.

Great food and generous portions! For the cuisine it would have been a 5/5. Too bad about the general atmosphere and the terrible acoustics of the place, too many tables and seats for such a small space.

Always a pleasure to spend an evening here, have dinner and then the comedy of Luigi's service is unique... not to mention when he meets with his brother Ignazio in the Sardinian language...🤣

Scrolling through the photos of the dishes of this restaurant brings back so many memories, I discovered this place thanks to an ex-girlfriend of mine who used to go there with friends and family back in 2002, since then I have been going there for many years even though I have been away for a long time now. From what I see they have not changed! Excellent food, nice brothers!
