After the walk, I had lunch. I had goulash, barley soup, ribs, and for dessert, I had Kaiser pancakes (the Austrian emperor's favorite) and tiramisu. It was so nice to eat delicious food while watching Sasolungo.

Gorgeous view, great location for food, drinks, snacks, or just a place to relax. Staff is family, place is clean. Nice place to a break from the hike

Very nice and well organized mountain hut. It has a large lawn where you can relax comfortably on a deckchair, enjoying the view with a fresh regenerating beer. It can be reached both through more challenging paths, and by bus, with a stop located about two kilometers away. The service is friendly and the typical food is good and plentiful. The Kaiserschmarrn deserves a special mention, prepared on the spot and served with various jams to accompany it. A stop that is definitely recommended.

Ristorante dell'Hotel Trudnerhof

01/06/2025: A very nice hotel in a great location. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfast and dinner were incredibly delicious. We were there with two children (9 and 12 years old), and both loved the food. Everything was freshly prepared and beautifully presented; even seconds were no problem. The hotel is located in the village center, a bus stop is a minute away, and the location is perfect for starting hikes. Melanie gave us excellent tips and recommendations for excursions and hikes. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the hotel! Thank you very much, Melanie, Andreas, and the team!
