The atmosphere is nice. We ordered beef and got pork goulash. The prices are exorbitant. You always have a choice of how much you want and for how much. In nice weather it's worth relaxing here :-)

A small refuge with a very homely and traditional atmosphere, in a stunning, sunny location, with a terrace offering breathtaking views of the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto mountains. Fast and efficient table service, and very kind and helpful owners. A wide selection of dishes, both local and otherwise, with prices absolutely in line with the local average. The dishes chosen were delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended!

Beautiful mountain hut on the Seiser Alm. Very crowded. Food overpriced.

Strudel (apple pie) is the best in the world. I heard the food is also delicious.

We ended up at this refuge by mistake. Without much hope, I tried to ask a waitress if they had any gluten-free options, and to my surprise, she replied that she, too, is celiac and that her mother is the chef. As the waitress also pointed out, however, there's only one kitchen, so 100% safety can't be guaranteed. When ordering, I tried to ask if the goulash was also available gluten-free, and the waitress rightly told me it was made with flour and therefore contains gluten. After that, she suggested that perhaps her mother had made some for her, and went to check. In the end, I was able to try the goulash with polenta and the polenta with melted cheese, both delicious. The menu also included plenty of gluten-free options, such as polenta, ribs, and even desserts. The prices are a bit high, but they're justified by the quality of the food and the refuge's location. There was no surcharge for the gluten-free option. I also want to point out that I have symptomatic celiac disease and had a wonderful time. Thank you again for the kindness and generosity of the waitress who shared with me what had been done for her! I will definitely return if I have the opportunity.
