Very small reservation for the pasta and frico. Good venison ragù.

Beautiful setting, pleasant atmosphere, but disappointed by some dishes that were served to us, such as the barley soup, a broth with some pieces of carrots, potatoes and a few barley grains!
You can't call a dish like that barley soup!

Comfortable environment and interesting location. In summer you can practically get there by car, but it's better to take the nature trail on foot. In winter the road is also fine, as it is closed to cars; It's a good "walk" to do. There are uphill sections that are never too steep, but often icy. Please remember to bring your crampons (come on! they don't cost that much). Even if you manage to get there uphill, then downhill, we (who have crampons) will also save you and help you get back down, but do you want to have a little head next time too?...the strudel is excellent and the brulet is even better...

Pranzo dopo una breve passeggiata. Il personale è cordialissimo, giovane, entusiasta. La passeggiata per raggiungere la baita in inverno è adatta a tutti, a tratti la strada ghiacciata ma percorribile con dei ramponcini. Cucina tipica ottima a prezzi ragionevolissimi. Da provare il piatto completo Rododendro.

A magical place nestled in the mountains and surrounded by trees.
We reached it in winter, via a short and not at all demanding walk starting from the center of Cima Sappada (following the path to the Fonte del Piave).
Once inside we immediately warmed up with a delicious giant cup of mulled wine. I wanted to try the lasagna of the day and I wasn't disappointed at all.
The place is very beautiful and intimate, a small mountain cabin in all respects.
Very friendly, friendly and helpful staff.

Ci siamo fermati per un pasto veloce. Eravamo in 4 e abbiamo scelto Il piatto rododendro: molto buono e abbondante, infatti una porzione è sufficiente per 2. Consigliato.
