For a few years now, especially in the cooler months—not in the dead of winter, but not too hot—we've been going up there and enjoying a moment of relaxation with a stunning view, not to be missed. The food is also very good, from polenta to mushroom stew, pizzoccheri, etc.
You can always find a spot by motorbike, but by car it's a bit difficult. However, if you go a little further up the mountain, there are more parking spaces. And in any case, you can always find a spot.

We went for lunch yesterday after climbing the Sormano wall, ordering the wonderful polenta uncia and house antipasto (one for two because the portions are really generous). Courtesy, service, ambience and quality of the dishes were all top notch, congratulations, highly recommended.

The characteristic mountain setting with a beautiful view that spans the gray mountains to the plains, even though it's right on the road, deserves 4 stars. I wouldn't rate the food higher than 3 stars. I ordered the polenta uncia, which nowadays costs the same as a first course (€12 here), and was disappointed that it was "diluted" with oil! The other courses were nothing special, with adequate portions, and the "tourist" trio was nothing special. One observation I make to everyone when they come along: pizzoccheri at a restaurant are expected to be at least made with fresh pasta.

Good restaurant
But the prices are too high for the service and quality of the food...
Just a few kilometers in one direction or another are enough to eat well... even better... for less.
And don't even bother telling me about the additional cost of carrying the ingredients up the mountain... 1,200 meters above sea level...
For the owners... - work on the friendliness of the staff and more
- improve the quality/price ratio.
