Very cozy hut in a top location right on the slopes. The service is super friendly and fast. The ambience of Hut 1a. The food also tasted fantastic and was reasonably priced for a ski hut. An absolute recommendation!

On a weekend between Christmas and New Year’s when everything was crowded, they still found a place for us. Then service was exceedingly fast. We were happy that they offered nonalcoholic beer. Our several dishes came relatively rapidly, we’re well cooked and quite warm. Given how tough it is to maintain a smile when places are this crowded, they really deserve kudos and I think you could count on the food being excellent.

Local on the ski slopes of Selva di Val Gardena, reachable by cable car (for those who don't like skiing). Typical South Tyrolean menu, simple but well prepared. Medium-high prices, but always proportionate to the area and the fact that it is a refuge. Top service! Everyone was very nice and very fast, even though everything was fully booked.

My husband and I have been on a skiing holiday in Selva for 14 days over Christmas and New Year for over 20 years. We have already tried many alternatives in Austria, but we are absolute fans of the Dolomites (and Zermatt at Easter). Everything is just right here: accommodation, food, variety, well-groomed slopes, stylish ambience and ultimately reliably sunny weather (bella Italia). 🌞 For us, the tradition and highlight at the end of each day is stopping at the “Baita Panorama” in Wolkenstein. In 2023, the hut, which is owned by the 5th generation of the family, was completely renovated and has therefore gained enormously. Guests really appreciate the charm and advantages. The team around owner David is very friendly, attentive and on the ball. You can order warm food until around 4:15 p.m. and cold food until around 4:30 p.m./4:45 p.m. along with an extensive selection of drinks at fair prices - in at least Italian, German, English or Ladin. The boss himself is there for his guests every evening in a great mood. Service is lived here. The appealing music comes in full sound from Bose speakers. And exactly at 4:56 p.m. THE final song starts: “Time to say good bye”. Now it's time to be sentimental. If you go to the balcony on the upper floor or simply outside the door, you will be presented with the most beautiful winter panorama at sunset. The subsequent valley descent in the semi-darkness also offers views that want to be captured photographically; Moments of bliss, contentment and gratitude. I just can't get enough of it and I keep raving about it. The lights of Wolkenstein sparkle in front of an orange-yellow mountain silhouette. The “Baita Panorama” rightly deserves its name. I would love to come back!

We had lunch twice during the week and each time we ate really well. Very professional staff. Very nice environment.
