We discovered this place through a popular restaurant app, lured by a 50% discount. Although it modestly calls itself a "trattoria," this place has nothing to envy of much more elegant restaurants: the interior is meticulously designed, with a rustic style enhanced by designer touches. The staff, all local, were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. The same goes for the owners, welcoming and attentive. The menu, while not extensive, offers a well-balanced selection of seafood and meat, with carefully crafted appetizers, first courses, and second courses. We started with a fried egg on a cream of potato with herbs and Parmesan cheese, and a beef tartare. Impeccable presentation, surprising flavor: the egg was an explosion of flavor, the tartare was incredibly fresh and had the perfect consistency. For main courses, we chose the horse steak tagliata and the Milanese cutlet: both dishes were of the highest quality, perfectly cooked and elegantly presented. All washed down with an excellent Bardolino. With the discount, we spent very little, but even at full price, the prices are more than fair, especially considering the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the service. A delightful discovery: I'll definitely be back, bringing friends too. Congratulations!

Great address in Verona, a very quiet alley. Very concentrated menu with few dishes, but everything from meat and fish to pasta, etc. But very well done and very good. A well-stocked wine list. The dishwasher is superfluous in this kitchen, we polished every single plate of every single course because they were so good. Typical local cuisine and traditional Italian dishes, a perfect combination of tradition and contemporary cuisine. Right portions, tasty, good and just a little elaborate without being pretentious. Super friendly staff, service in the right time. Prices in line with the quality.

Mediocre dishes, mediocre service, nice location - Negative: Cuisine Considering the price and the simplicity of the dishes, I would have expected perfect execution or high-quality raw materials. The cuisine was banal and unmemorable. In Verona there are alternatives that offer real culinary experiences at the same price or even less. The only reason I will remember this place and the food served will be the feeling of disappointment at the table and of being ripped off at the cash register. - Negative: Service The first impression was the table, booked for 5, set with 7 chairs. Nothing wrong with that but the consequence was that we found ourselves very cramped and uncomfortable until we asked to remove the excess chairs. This type of carelessness is understandable in a place that aims for a homely or easy-going atmosphere, but not in a place that aims for a more refined image as the restaurant in question seems to want to do. - Positive: Location Right in the center of Verona Modern environment and suitable for multiple situations
