Baita Ermitage In Courmayeur

Always a great place with good food and good prices. Excellent I highly recommend it.

I stayed at the Baita Ermitage and I had a very good time. The property is well-kept, in a quiet location and with a beautiful view. The possibility of relaxing on the deckchairs outside is a plus that really makes the difference, especially on sunny days. An ideal place to disconnect and enjoy some quiet in the mountains.

Located in a spectacular and cozy place. The prices are a bit exorbitant for what is offered. Paying €12 for a simple chicory and egg salad is not worth it. They offer it to you off the menu and they don't tell you the price. And desserts at €9 seem exorbitant to me, we didn't order it. The rest of the dishes were quantities that fell a little short.

Awesome place! Beautiful cabin surrounded by greenery. Typical Aosta Valley cuisine worthy of the location. The hot raspberries with cream ice cream are delicious! Relaxing after lunch on the lawn overlooking Mont Blanc is highly recommended.

I limit myself only to some sandwiches purchased before a walk, I would say nothing special at a price of €9 each. However, the place is interesting with a beautiful view... we will try to go back for lunch and an overall evaluation.

La cucina che ti aspetti da un'osteria Slow Food: autenticità, qualità e ricerca degli ingredienti, sapientemente lavorati, ci hanno garantito un pranzo con i controfiocchi. Ottima la polenta concia accompagnata da un piatto di funghi freschissimi e carbonade della casa. Hanno saputo valorizzare anche il gelato alla Montagnarde, accompagnandolo con il genepì. Impagabile, in ultimo, il panorama che ti si staglia davanti al parcheggio. Calore, cortesia e gentilezza del personale fanno da cornice a questa piccola meraviglia delle Alpi Valdostane.

Abbiamo scoperto per caso questo luogo magico la sera del 30 dicembre. Volevamo un ristorante fuori dal centro e ci siamo addentrati in una strada a pochi minuti di auto dal centro di Courmayeur e abbiamo visto questa baita molto suggestiva perchè ubicata di fronte alle montagne e tipica valdostana. Abbiamo ricevuto un’ottima accoglienza da parte del titolare. Erano le 19 e siamo riusciti a trovare un tavolo x miracolo perché era presto. Mentre eravamo lì’ hanno telefonato una trentina di persone per prenotare nei giorni successivi. I tavoli sono limitati, ci sono due salette e una privata x due, romanticissima vista montagne. E’ da vedere perché e’ fantastica l’atmosfera. Abbiamo provato l’insalata di mele (pazzesca), un tagliere di salumi e tomini, crespelle alla valdostana, polenta concia, lamponi caldi e gelato alla crema, marroni all’armagnac, vino della casa. Tutto fantastico e servizio impeccabile. Abbiamo speso 45 euro a testa, prezzo equo considerando che siamo a Courmayeur e il posto è unico. Spero di tornarci.
