Bait Dal Ghet In Livigno

Spartan but welcoming family place. Excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff. Aperitif and bitters always offered by the house. Highly recommended.

In the car, on the way to Livigno at this very moment... Found out that this iconic place is closed for a while now, really hope everyone from the staff is doing well. Bait dal Ghet was not only a cozy place to have some delicious food, but a full on experience - from waiting in what seemed to be an endless line to get in, through having a couple too many drinks while being in this line, to leaving with a huge smile and never without a digestivo shot. Saluti!

siamo qui… uno dei posti che da anni andiamo… la sera… sfidando il gelo… ma sappiamo che una volta dentro ci sono persone che ti accolgono con semplicità e calore e mangi una pizza strepitosa! scopro che è chiusa! sicuramente ci saranno dei motivi importanti ma se solo c’è un barlume di speranza spero che possa farvi capire come da altre recensioni che ‘mancate’.

Ate well, not a 10, but worth it. On the slopes

We have eaten there several times on skiing holidays for many, many years. Absolutely special/iconic restaurant: very nice host, very nice staff, great food (whether pizza, salad, pasta or meat). We are very sad that this no longer exists. Thank you for all the good food and the beautiful moments with you.

A unique restaurant. While you wait, you pour yourself an Aperol. The food was delicious. Great atmosphere. According to information from the owner, the restaurant has ceased operations from the winter season of 2024.

Bait Dal Ghet in Livigno is a place that will remain forever in our hearts, although unfortunately we can no longer visit it. It was a restaurant that went far beyond the definition of an ordinary restaurant - it was a true oasis of taste, warmth and unique atmosphere. Every visit there was like meeting a friend. The owner - a man with a huge heart and passion - created an atmosphere that cannot be described in words. His warmth, commitment and genuine concern for guests made everyone feel special. The service was always smiling, friendly and ready to fulfill any request, and free aperitifs while waiting for a table only added to the magic of this place. Food? Simply perfect. Every slice of pizza, every plate of pasta was a little masterpiece, prepared with love and attention to the smallest details. These flavors were so unforgettable that to this day, when we remember them, we still feel this unique smell and taste. Bait Dal Ghet wasn't just a restaurant - it was a home where food brought people together and conversation and laughter floated over the tables. Thank you for every moment spent in this place, for the warmth that enveloped us every time, and for the memories that will remain with us forever. Dear Owner, if you are reading this, know that you have created something that went far beyond an ordinary restaurant. You have built a place with soul, which has become an important stop on the map of many people's lives. Your work and the heart you put into what you did made the world a more beautiful place. We were in Livigno 14-20 Dec 2024 Unfortunately, our hearts broke. Bait closed. Spending time there, the food, the atmosphere were part of the tradition of annual trips to Livigno. A unique atmosphere that we missed. Livigno will never be the same again :(

Siamo stati in questo ristorante sabato sera, nonostante fosse pieno e noi fossimo in 10 ci hanno trovato un tavolo, offerto un aperitivo nell'attesa e servito in tempi onesti.. Dopo una buona cena ci hanno portato una decina di bottiglie di amari, da assaggiare liberamente.. Per concludere prezzi davvero bassi.. Decisamente consigliato!!
