Quiet and very clean environment. The Genoese cuisine and farinata are excellent. Everything very well looked after. Trust their advice. To try!

Terrible waitress. We ask for Ligurian minestrone (as per the menu displayed on the blackboard outside the restaurant) and we are told that it is finished... that's OK, too bad that after 15 minutes the same minestrone is served to two customers who have just arrived.
The same waitress brings us two glasses for water but they are glasses slightly larger than those used for bitters. We point this out to her and she says: Do you want the big ones? I remain stunned.
He doesn't even ask us if we want wine...
The waitress' service aside, a shout-out to Cecina. A very kind lady who I imagine is also the owner prepares and cooks it in front of everyone. For the second course we took two Vitelli with tuna sauce. Good but not exceptional.. overall rating 7.

Family run restaurant, excellent food: go for the farinata, exquisite. We ate stuffed vegetables and stewed squid tentacles with peas. Also meat-based dishes are really good and they usually represent the main offer in the menù.

Locale molto alla buona...senza pretese ok..però un sabato sera mi sarei aspettato un menù con almeno due opzioni per il primo, invece c'era solo il minestrone
Per fortuna abbiamo ripiegato sulle torte salate e la farinata.
Ci tornerei solo se prima vedo esposto cosa scegliere

Se si vuole mangiare come "a casa", senza fronzoli e senza pretese, ad un prezzo corretto, questo è il posto giusto. Abbiamo pranzato il sabato affollato per Chiavari in fiore, fuori sotto i portici. I pochi piatti del giorno sono scritti sulla lavagna, e ripetuti dal cameriere. Bella l'idea di servire le trofie miste "tricolore", molto buone. Ottime le acciughe fritte. Consigliata la prenotazione, altrimenti si rischia di attendere per potersi sedere.

Beautiful place, with tables inside and outside, where you can eat dishes from the region. Cod and pesto are unmissable, with that Mediterranean flavor, soft and light, simple and that's why it's so beautiful. Yes, beautiful, aesthetically pleasing, that's how the dishes taste. It is a moving experience for the foodie. It makes you see the sea and oppresses your heart at the same time. Highly recommended.

True traditional Ligurian cuisine in a familiar and informal context. Open from Thursday to Sunday, seats inside and outside in good weather. Homemade cuisine, unpretentious, genuine and with a daily menu limited to the specials of the day. Stop to eat at Baiciotto!
