Baia del Re In Carrara

A beautiful reality discovered after four years of residence in Carrara. The King's Bay is a restaurant bar with a few tables where you can enjoy fresh fish (caught only) made in every way by Vittorio but also excellent first courses and then....... the crudités!!!!! ??? The place is clean, the service is excellent and the staff friendly. Everything was excellent. The prices are compatible and in line with the quality of the products offered. Highly recommended for those who want to eat the catch of the day.

Basic menu with poor choice, good but banal dishes, I was a little disappointed, honestly I expected that the photos of all the dishes I saw in the reviews were part of a single proposal, but instead they were made in multiple meals. I was even immediately told that to eat shellfish you have to book them in advance. Infinite sadness!

It was a beautiful evening, in a quiet environment, away from the center of Marina di Carrara. The seafood appetizer and the red mullet dumplings were excellent, or rather more than excellent. I was surprised by the rice cake and a delicious tiramisu. I will definitely return to try other dishes.
