Among the numerous beach resorts in Forte dei Marmi, we chose Bagno Firenze. The daily price was €70 for a set consisting of two loungers, two chairs, and a table – in the upper price range, which raises certain expectations. There is a pool, but access is only permitted with a swimming cap – perhaps not for everyone. The restaurant offers a solid selection; the pizza was surprisingly good. Unfortunately, the kitchen is closed between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, which can be a disadvantage, especially for afternoon guests. The service was friendly and okay, without being particularly negative or positive. Conclusion: The price is relatively high for what is offered, as the overall package seems rather average – neither negative nor particularly outstanding. Anyone looking for a solid beach resort with a pool and pizza will be satisfied here, but shouldn't expect any special extras or an exclusive flair.
