Bagno Bar Viola In

In the splendid bay of Citara where the sunset is breathtaking and an aperitif is a must. Stefano invites you to choose between the beachfront tables and the comfortable loungers by the sea; nothing frozen or packaged (olives, cheese, hot bread with salt, oil and oregano, white and PURPLE fried patties from the garden) to accompany a drink or a glass of wine, unique and undisputed DJ the sea and no other music. And if you don't have time for the aperitif, a rocket or a piperna after dinner in the moonlight is the TOP!!!

We were here twice and the food and service were flawless. Extremely tasty food, family-owned business where you always find the owner smiling. The Romanian waiter was a great presence and even gave us a shot of limoncelo on the house.

Excellent beach resort, clean and welcoming, the staff does everything to satisfy the needs of the customer. A round of applause to the lifeguard Saimon who really has something extra, kindness and professionalism in one person.

Today I went to the beach at Bagno Viola, everything was excellent, from the service to the food.

Este lugar fue un gran hallazgo. Nunca conseguiría una estrella Michelin pero no querría una. Dirigido por una familia, los conocimos a todos, incluida la nueva niña, hija de la hija de papá. Situado en la playa de Citara con vistas alrededor de lo que es esencialmente una bahía. Acantilados en un extremo donde a distancia hay un faro (que también sirve como hotel exclusivo). Envío desde Nápoles en el horizonte de otras islas distantes chocando con las olas y las actividades de playa. Además, todo el camino hacia las puestas de sol del mar, todo visible desde su mesa de comedor. La comida era fantástica y de calidad consistente. Los bouchés divertidos incluían “cosas” de pescado frito y flores de calabacín rellenas que eran gratis. Los mariscos, como era de imaginar, estaban súper frescos y magníficamente cocinados. Pasta perfecta al Dante, tomates frescos y hierbas. Tiramisu de postre en cada visita así que no puedo comentar nada sobre ningún otro desierto... pero el tiramisú era excelente. Cuando hubo un problema para conseguir un taxi de vuelta a nuestro hotel que sucedió dos veces, la hija de papá nos llevó de vuelta. ¡Vaya a un restaurante diferente la primera noche solo para decir que fue a dos restaurantes durante su estancia!

Loved this place so much ate 4 nights. Family run and with speed and super friendly. Was staying in local hotel and saw alot of the guests here as well. Food was plentiful and well presented and of course yummy. They will remember me as think I was only one who ordered a roccolino! 🤩

Nos alojamos en un hotel cerca de este restaurante y fuimos a cenar, así como un par de almuerzos. El servicio fue bueno y muy amable. La comida era sabrosa. Recomendaría el Panini Terramare como sándwich de almuerzo - nuestro favorito. Los precios son razonables y las porciones son generosas.

The location is great, the service is friendly and the simple meal is plentiful and very good.

Very good location by the sea, perfect for seeing the sunset. Excellent welcome, family service! Congratulations to Viola and her dad For dinner, we had the mussels and clams dishes, it was really so good, we even had more! We highly recommend this place without hesitation.
