Beach resort, bar, and restaurant. At Bagno Aurora, you can find a full service. The facility is a bit dated; with a renovation, I think it could reach its full potential. Prices for the bar, restaurant, and restrooms are clearly stated. So, no surprises. Restroom prices are reasonable. Excessive, considering that umbrellas and loungers are just an uncomfortable chair... if you want a proper lounger, you have to pay. You also have to pay for tokens to take a cold shower in a tiny cubicle, as well as for the changing rooms and lockers. The distance between the various stations is good. The lifeguards are friendly enough, although some are a bit lazy and more focused on their cell phones than anything else. The beach is very far, even from the front rows. Not suitable for children because it gets deep after just a few steps in the water (we were unlucky, as the sea was quite rough). The restrooms are slightly dirty and poorly maintained (paper was already out at 1:00 PM in all of them). The plus point of this beach is the children's play area: slides (mainly for very young children), plastic playhouses, and climbing frames. I'm giving it four stars only for the restaurant, which I think is the real reason we returned here two days in a row. The seafood menu is delicious. The grilled octopus with vegetables is truly delicious, but everything else is excellent as well (we didn't try the pizza, but it looked good). Prices are a bit high, but it's worth the money. Service is slow, but the staff are very friendly and kind. My toddler broke a glass, and they were very professional and quick to clean it up and take care of the customer. I'd return for the restaurant, but perhaps not for the beach.

Although the sea wasn't always cooperative, this beach resort proved to be excellent on several fronts. First and foremost, the umbrellas and loungers were well-maintained, although there wasn't much space between them. The bar service prepared excellent lunches, and the staff was always friendly.

Torre del Lago is an ideal place for a day at the beach. On a Friday in the middle of July, there's free parking just steps from the sea (a farsighted gesture from the city council), and this beach resort is a good choice. You won't find haute cuisine, but that's fine, at least it's not trying to be something it's not. The quality is perfectly in line with the prices, which in Tuscany can reach unreasonable heights for truly appalling dishes. The staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is definitely relaxing.

Surprising place. Really great food. Kis had a lasagne, adults had gnocci with langoustine and risotto di mar, I had the polpa which was amazing. Service was great. The location is really nice with a kids park and the long beach.
