Today was Ethiopian Christmas lunch. It was a wonderful experience, where I got to meet these friendly and helpful people, ate with my hands, and danced with them. I shared an afternoon with Ethiopians I didn't know, and I had a great time.

I attended a visible mending course with Paola Pellino. It was a very useful experience. The only drawback is that you have to climb a flight of stairs to enter the building, and there's no disabled access. I still walk, but I struggle going up and down stairs.

The quality of the food is simply excellent: fresh ingredients, carefully crafted dishes, and instantly authentic flavors. Every time I go, I'm struck by how everything is prepared with care and passion. Another great strength is the staff: always kind, smiling, and helpful. They make you feel immediately at ease, and the service is quick but always attentive to detail. But the real highlight is the weekend sandwiches: spectacular. Perfect bread, generous fillings, and truly perfect combinations. Honestly, they're among the best I've ever eaten—hard to beat! If you're in the Carmagnola area, stopping at La Marianna isn't just recommended... it's practically mandatory. You'll definitely be back. Kudos to the entire team!
07/02/2026: A good place for a business lunch, but it's a shame about the long line to get served. In my opinion, a larger counter with more staff would be appropriate, as the food is fresh and frequently refilled.
