The Beach club is under construction so it's not usable at the moment, but here at the very end of April there were only about four or five groups on the beach and it was 66° but it felt like it was about 80°. The water was very cold but very refreshing to walk in. From the entrance near 69 via de Arienzo it's 270 steps down. We were reading that if we had entered the beach from Arienzo grande near the piers they have a shuttle boat that can take you around to this more private beach and then pick you up. But either way there's a almost 300 steps back up to the road to get a bus or taxi. My husband and I are both 72 years old and we took it slow but we made it.

We had a fabulous day at Arienzo! It was so cool to finally go to the place that you've seen a thousand pictures of and it did not disappoint! The complimentary boat service to and from the main pier in Positano was super easy and just a short ride. We were greeted and shown our chairs on the row we booked and were immediately given service. The staff is awesome! Great food and drinks and we loved having a private beach experience with amazing views. Be sure to bring water shoes! The rocks were fairly smooth but when it's hot out it definitely hurts to walk on. Wish we could relive this day!

29/05/2025: We went to Chez Black at the end of May for dinner and were satisfied. The location is perfect – right on the beach in Positano, with a beautiful view and a lively but pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is very busy, but the organization is efficient. We ate pasta and fish – both dishes were good and well presented. The service was very friendly and attentive, despite the large influx of customers. You can feel that the staff is used to dealing with tourists, but they do it with kindness and professionalism. In summary: a great choice if you want to eat well in a special location, with a welcoming service. Recommended!
