Hilltop looking over the valley ristorante next to an old abbey which is now a winery. The location is amazing. We had a set menu of a pasta starter then beef stew on polenta with chocolate orange mousse to finish.

They recommended this place to us and the truth is that the terrace with the view is beautiful! We were unlucky with the service, since between the first and second course they made us wait about 30 minutes, too much! We left without trying the dessert to avoid more waiting.

The food was delicious. But, as is typical in Tuscany, you have to order at least two courses to feel full. I had the "catch of the day with vegetables," which turned out to be just some spinach and mashed potatoes... Unfortunately, steak is only available for a minimum of two people.
The view, however, is beautiful.

I was served a chilled Chianti Classico Badia a Coltibuono straight from the refrigerator.
I promptly had it replaced.
The Romanian waiter tries her best, but the results are mediocre.
The other lady should change jobs.
It's a real shame; the place is gorgeous, and the wine produced by the winery is excellent, but in good hands.

Excelente almuerzo en este hermoso restaurante. Comida y bebida de alta calidad (se vende su propio vino). Tablero de charcutería para empezar probablemente el mejor jamás tenido, carpaccio de ternera una delicia. Preciosa pasta con salsa de jabalí. Almuerzo de 2 platos (( 2 de 4 tenían postre) vinos locales y spritz por menos de 200 € en total. Gran valor.
¡Entonces fuimos y gastamos demasiado dinero en la bodega!
