We where 3 adults and 2 teenagers. We managed to get 3 tasting menus with wine and kids got their own composition. Excellent food, great wine pairing, super service and a location that gives room for your own experience. This is the 3rd time I go there in 12 years, and always love it. Will come back every time I go to Tuscany.

For the second consecutive year for dinner, with an overnight stay in the adjacent Badia. “Special” starter with brioche bread, livers and truly exceptional apricot compote, as well as Cinta Senese cured meats (among the best tasted in the area). Good first courses. For those who want Chianti Classico different from the usual, try “Cultus”. Vin Santo from its own production is also of good quality (not for dipping, but to accompany the cantucci). Surrounded by nature, terrace with beautiful view of the valley below.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants!
Food top. World-class ambience, I don't know of a nicer restaurant with such a view.
And the service is very attentive and nice.
Certainly not cheap, but absolutely justified considering the location and the quality.

This place is in our top 10 of visited restaurants. We received a very friendly welcome from manager Ricardo. We were first assigned a table for dinner among young families. As a couple, this wasn't really where we wanted to be. I kindly asked Ricardo if we could get another table. He understood us immediately and gave us a great table with a beautiful view of the valley. Service was on point, they were able to give us clear advice regarding starters and after dishes. We therefore followed Francesca's full advice.
Everything was tasty and beautifully presented. Service is really worth more than 5 stars. Team Badia Thanks for a beautifully organized evening and lunches🙏 we will be back!

Idyllic spot for a restaurant on the 'edge' of a mountain. What a location, what a view! Service here is perfect, you feel more than welcome here as a guest. During lunch they use a somewhat smaller menu than during dinner. There are plenty of similarities between the two. Lunch menu with matching wines is definitely worth a try. Wines are of top quality and are literally bottled next door. Delicious food, even with children.
1 minus; With dishes of this quality, you wouldn't expect the pannacotta to come out of the freezer...

A perfect dinner in a perfect location. The menu is very balanced and fits wonderfully into the Chianti region. The food was wonderfully prepared and the guests were very classy. There are plenty of views and parking spaces.
I can neither understand nor confirm some of the other reviews. I thought it was wonderful and can highly recommend it…

Almeno una volta all’anno vengo in questo ristorante dove in questo periodo si può cenare fuori e si sta molto bene, ottima accoglienza e personale gentilissimo, la cucina e il menù, a mio avviso, questa volta è stata nella media….ok la battuta di carne , il petto di faraona un po’ troppo cotto , sinceramente non sapevo cosa scegliere…
Piatti presentati bene ma sapori ni’ per mio gusto…
Carta dei vini ovviamente la fanno da padrone quelli di propria produzione
Prezzo adeguato al contesto…..
