This was a magical place in Trastevere! While the whole area is full of tourists and that’s just the fact, the food and atmosphere felt truly homey and Roman. Casual but with incredible food. A great menu selection that offers not only Roman fare but also Umbrian and Pugliese specialties. They also have a rotating list of seasonal specialties. The experience was in large thanks to Aige and Giuseppe who took great care of us and were so patient, kind, fun with our 2 year old daughter. Do not miss the Guanciotto- a slow braised lamb cheek thinly sliced. Truly delicious and somehow not too heavy!
