Highly recommended! Perfect for breaking from the restaurant routine and enjoying something more relaxed while listening to good music. Great atmosphere. I recommend the Limoncello Spritz, like an Aperol Spritz but with that characteristic Italian lemon liqueur. It was reasonably priced compared to drinks in Venice. The pizza was delicious too.

The vibes here are simply immaculate. We visited for about two hours on our honeymoon and had three drinks each. They had music playing on the TV, a lot of old music videos from Queen, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, and more. The bar was pretty lively and there were several groups having animated conversations around us. As the drinks kept flowing we ended up getting to know a few of the different people sitting around us. The service was also incredible. The bartender and the server came over several times to say hello. At the end of the experience they brought us over complimentary green shots. We still don't know what the liquor was but it was pretty delicious. Overall if you're looking for a place to have a few drinks and relax, this one definitely stands out, especially if you are a fan of older music from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s!

The drinks were really good and the service was excellent! But the best part was the atmosphere and music. Early in the evening they played rock and metal, which was the highlight for me. Later in the night they played a bit more generic party music, but still good. The interior was really cool with fun decor. I real enjoyed this place! The only downside is that I think drinks were a bit overpriced, but not by much. All in all, a good place!

This is the best place in Venice. Delicious food, delicious drinks and service 1st class, atmosphere very nice. Highly recommend! If u are in Venice.. u have to be in Bacaro Jazz!

Lovely little bar, Linda and Bella were wonderful, had some good laughs and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend for no pressure, relaxed drinks and food if you need. Their Sangria is better than any we had in Spain also.

Must visit if you are in Venice, ultra chilled staff, friendly. Met some really nice people here. Music is just loud enough to enjoy a conversation. Good selection of drinks and cocktails.

19/04/2026: I've been to Controcorrente at Alberoni (Venice Lido) and I have to say it was a truly wonderful discovery! 😊 The restaurant has a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for both a quiet dinner and an evening with friends. You immediately feel at ease, thanks in part to the staff, who are always smiling, kind, and helpful without ever being intrusive. You can really feel the care they give, which is not always a given these days. The food was the real highlight: incredibly fresh seafood dishes, beautifully presented, and with authentic flavors, but the pizza was also truly worth it (light dough and quality ingredients). You can tell they put a lot of care into the selection of ingredients and the preparation. The outdoor space is also very pleasant, with a sort of covered terrace that allows you to enjoy your meal in an airy yet sheltered environment. The prices are absolutely in line with the area and the quality offered, so I'd say more than fair. Overall, it's one of those places you'll gladly return to and recommend without a second thought. If you're in Alberoni, it's definitely worth a stop! 👍

03/04/2026: Recently renovated, the seafood is excellent, using quality ingredients. We ordered polenta with skie, scallops, garganelli with baby octopus, and fried calamari. Everything was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were very friendly.
02/03/2026: A unique experience! An evening with friends over a shared piñata... a delight. Fresh fish, perfectly cooked, lagoon style. The owner is a friendly and welcoming person who comes out of the kitchen to serve guests.
