14/05/2026: I recently dined at the Hotel Centosedici restaurant, and the experience was truly remarkable, deserving of a detailed account.
The atmosphere is typical of an authentic and refined osteria: I found a welcoming room with exposed stone and brick walls that immediately warmed the space. I was particularly impressed by the table settings, simple yet distinctive, with paper placemats that recall the restaurant's geometric patterns and the iconic terracotta jugs and cups personalized "Osteria da Fortunata."
The menu is a celebration of Italian cuisine and seafood flavors. Here are the dishes that made my evening special:
* **Crudi Antipasto**: A triumph of freshness served on a bed of ice, with oysters, scampi, red shrimp, tuna tartare, and even an original garnish of strawberries and blueberries.
* **Primi Piatti**: I sampled generous spaghetti with mussels and clams, perfectly creamy. Also unmissable are traditional classics, such as pasta with tomato and basil or carbonara, served on characteristic ceramic plates with hand-decorated edges.
* **Fish Main Courses**: The seared fish fillet with crispy skin, accompanied by shavings of black truffle and a delicate emulsion, is excellent, as is the mixed grill that included calamari, scampi, and octopus, all cooked to perfection.
* **La Chicca**: I couldn't miss the eggplant parmigiana, served in its own clay pot, stringy and fragrant with basil.
The service was attentive and friendly, typical of those who love to make guests feel at home. The dark wood table, left exposed in some areas or covered with ochre-colored tablecloths, creates a rustic-elegant contrast that makes the experience even more pleasant.
In short, if you're looking for a place where quality ingredients meet tradition in a genuine setting, Centosedici restaurant is a must-visit. I will definitely go back to try the gnocchi with oxtail sauce that I saw being passed around at other tables!
14/05/2026: The restaurant is well-located on the beach, and the service was quick despite our late arrival after 9 pm in the off-season.
The service was attentive. The octopus salad appetizer, served with focaccia bread, is highly recommended. The fried seafood was delicious. The local white wine was excellent.
