Agriturismo San Polo In Castelvetro di modena

I've become a regular at this agriturismo. The great thing about this place is that the menu changes every month. This time, the entrée is delicious mushroom tortelloni, followed by tagliolini with truffle. The main course is classic tigelle with cured meats, mixed cheeses, and dips, plus a fantastic homemade black cherry jam. To finish, the homemade desserts are always excellent. I highly recommend it.

The place is tucked away in a corner and is very beautiful. The service is excellent, and the restaurant serves authentic and very good food. I recommend trying it...

Excellent food, refined in flavor and quality. Welcoming and formidable service. The owner is friendly and professional. It's a shame we live far away. Highly recommended, very fair prices for all the food and wine we consumed.

Great food, service and atmosphere

I can only speak about Agriturismo San Polo for its food. I went there for dinner. It's a beautiful place, with that rustic yet refined touch that immediately makes you feel at home. The set menu included ricotta tortelli with fresh porcini mushrooms and tagliolini with truffles, both excellent. Followed by tigelle with both white and whole wheat flour. Whole wheat, cured meats, various sauces, dips, jam, fresh ricotta, and honey for classic or unusual pairings, depending on your taste. Then, as they say, for last but not least: zuppa inglese, black cherry tart, chocolate and bensone cake... In short, a champion's dinner! Very filling and everything delicious!!

What can I say: FANTASTIC!! Beautiful location, in this ancient village in the hills!! Food: excellent and high-quality. We will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed. The room, wine, and atmosphere were very authentic. I could have stayed longer…

A bit of a late review, but we're dying to come back soon! My boyfriend and I came last year, and I don't think I've ever left a restaurant or farmhouse with such a full belly, yet still wanting to try new, delicious food! It was a relaxing, delicious dinner, with excellent wine. And the tigelle? With an endless array of toppings! Incredible!! Everything is worth trying, and all are made with local, refined ingredients! Nothing banal or predictable. You fully experience the wonder of the landscape before you, surrounded by greenery and nature. The ladies inside are very professional and kind. The "trip" is absolutely worth the experience, and since the food is high-quality and local, it's only fair to pay the price! (Very fair price). We'll be back soon!

Everything is excellent, but the borlenghi are out of this world. Top!
