Very nice place. Ate well, but I (personally) would have put a little more garlic in the seasoning lard and who cares about the breath. It's a bit like going to eat spaghetti with garlic, oil and chilli without garlic.

In cerca di un posto nuovo dove non siamo mai stati Tripadvisor mi propone questo bellissimo agriturismo! Leggo un paio di recensioni, guardo un paio di foto e prenoto! Sinceramente molto molto buono, apprezzata la scelta di un menù stagionale! Tortelloni ai porcini FANTASTICI. Tigelle leggere e affettati di qualità, ricotta meravigliosa. Confettura fatta da loro all’Albiccocca con cui farcire le tigelle: ahh che buona, ci avevo anche fatto un pensierino di far scivolare .. ops!.. il vasetto in borsa! Ahah Ai dolci non ci siamo arrivati perché veramente pieni! Paghiamo, tutto buonissimo…. E Gentilissima la Signora che gira tra i tavoli e mostra i porcini appena colti che quando si è accorta che non avevamo preso i dolci ci ha rincorso fuori dal ristorante per farceli sentire! La prossima volta! Promesso! A presto.

I went to eat in this place a few days ago and I must say that first of all I found an excellent welcome from all the staff including the owner who was always willing to answer questions about the history of the place and the dishes. First of all I must say that all the dishes are well cared for and the freshness of the (organic) products and the excellent authenticity certainly stands out. Fantastic tortellini and tagliatelle even without talking about the abundance of tigelle (excellent and made to perfection), cured meats and hot lard a delicacy. Pinzimonio with truly fresh and high quality vegetables . desserts and digestives all homemade . you can see that they look for a lot of authenticity and quality products that are rarely found even in agritourisms. excellent value for money. I definitely recommend it and if I come back to those parts I will definitely return.. also very local beautiful surrounded by greenery and very characteristic. Well done

Farmhouse recommended by a friend who I will have to thank As they told me, there is no menu to choose from, you sit down and they bring you things until you explode! In fact, they accompanied us to the table, brought water and wine and shortly after a welcome dish arrived, some really good tortellini with cream, the nutmeg was noticeable, I'm used to a more "neutral" flavor but I have to say that they were tasty After this some tagliolini with mushrooms arrived (I'm not sure but I think Prugnoli) Good, good, good! Followed by tigelle (crescentine for the purists 😅) the table was filled with cured meats, cheeses, cold and hot lard, honey, jam, their very appetizing green sauce, ricotta and other things that I probably forget and vegetables for the dip We tried to finish everything but we couldn't... Furthermore, every now and then they stopped by to ask if you wanted a refill of tigelle I'd say that here, if you're hungry... You'll find what you need! Just before the explosion we raised the white flag and they came to clear the table Now it's the turn of the desserts! A trifle to start with and followed by 3 other desserts (belsone, a cake similar to Barozzi and a tart) brushed aside in a short time Coffee and to top it off a trolley full of bitters and liqueurs which however... we refused, I don't like liqueurs and what's more I had to drive All really good I will definitely be back to try the Borlenghi, they only make them on Thursdays and Fridays but, rumor has it, they are fantastic! All this for €45 each Maybe a little more expensive than average but I think it's fair given everything they brought Well done, we will definitely be back After the manager's response, I add that I was born and raised in a small town in the municipality of Toano, in the province of Reggio Emilia, for me they have always been called tigelle, but my friends in the area turn up their noses when you call them that, for I wrote that "for the purists" I reiterate that like you... I call them tigelle😅

Conosco e frequento San Polo da diversi anni, ho portato colleghi, amici, parent e ho anche fatto dei capodanno. Su San Polo c'è da dire poco,si mangia bene, il posto è sempre top.......ma .....ricordo momenti migliori. Salame in tavola...formaggio in tavola...piatti abbondanti...borlenghi a non finire e tigelle da morire. Con il tempo tutto si è ridotto tranne e i prezz che con i 39 euro a persona + 12 Euro di un lambrusco mi sembrano davvero tanto. Comunque sempre un buon Agriturismo. Un saluto

Top evening, fantastic atmosphere and management! You are in the countryside of Castelvetro, surrounded by nature, a wonderful location! The peculiarity lies in their menu, set on the months and therefore on the fresh products found in the month in which you go for lunch or dinner. As far as I'm concerned, I found the tortellini with cream as an entree, amazing stuff! So small and with so much filling that they exploded in my mouth... and I didn't understand how they managed to fit so much filling inside 😅 Such goodness as I had never felt that I started eating one at a time to enjoy them and not finish them immediately 😍 Tagliolini with mushrooms no stuff 😋 tagliolini cooked al dente, delicious homemade pasta, pinaroli mushrooms (if I'm not mistaken) of unique goodness! I'm still not clear whether I preferred the tortellini or the tagliolini. I should go there for a week behind the lines, lunch and dinner and then, perhaps, decide 😅 Tigelle also wholemeal, cured meats, pinzimonio, ricotta, honey, parmesan, hot lard 😋 jam and borlenghi were exceptional. Trifle, I usually don't like it but I couldn't say no, given the quality. And I was right, I would have eaten a whole one! 😋 The chocolate cake, it melted in your mouth...one piece attracted another. The black cherry tart is something......illegal!😍 Not to mention I would love the recipe! Unique, never heard something like this! The nocino feels like it's not from a buy bottle. The coffee is also good!!!😅 It's nice to be able to say that there are still restaurateurs with true passion enough to be able to put it on your plates and make you feel at ease as if you were at home with your family! Then the environment is top, the fantastic atmosphere! Super dinner!!! What can I say other than thank you! Price around 40 per person. All deserved!!! Leave with a full belly and the desire to return immediately! Thanks thanks thanks!!!

Great stop over parking space. We were in Castelvetro di Modena in April 2024 and the pitches suggested to us via apps and the internet were all rubbish. We went here on the chance and asked if we could stand for a night. No problem when shopping at the farm shop. So we had delicious spumante and pesto for €20. Excellent! Thank you!! Of course, there is no other service for campers.

This review is about the restaurant, we did not try to stay. Last night, my husband and I went to have dinner in this magnificent place in the countryside of Castelvetro. We were truly pleasantly impressed by this farmhouse which makes tradition its strong point. Everything was perfect starting from the guys who served the tables, kind and diligent, up to the very large table at which they made us sit, set in a delicious way. Everything inside recalls distant times, even the clothing of the server whose apron features the leitmotif "Andam a Vagg" and with the straw or raffia hat typical of farmers pulled tightly onto his head. But the real king is the food , good, genuine, tasty. They started with tortellini in broth followed by tagliolini with morels that were simply divine. Then we discover the reason for such a large table... the tigelle arrive accompanied by all sorts of goodies, cold cuts of all kinds, very tasty lard and parmesan, green sauce dip, ricotta, honey, homemade cherry jam but above all a delicacy that I had never eaten.... hot lard.... definitely UNMATCHED. The owner comes by every now and then, leaving more tigelle in case you want more, as well as the accompanying food, you just need to ask. When you think you've gotten everything out of the evening, the desserts arrive. They brought us a delicious trifle as an opening, it looked just like the one my mother made, who unfortunately is no longer here. And followed by a tender cake with coffee and chocolate, tortelli with flavor and a delicious dessert, as well as the fried cream. All for 39 euros each excluding wine. We are honored to have been able to get to know this place which will certainly see us among the diners again. It was wonderful to see the owner passing between the tables clutching a basket of morels to proudly display, the same ones used to season the tagliolini. And what a surprise to discover that in a small wooden box on the table there was coarse salt for flavoring or for dipping and that if you wanted it fine you had to use the river stone next to it and crush the large grains... this to remember the old days where fine salt didn't exist and in order to have it the housewives obtained it using a glass bottle and slid it back and forth on the table and on the salt... it was really interesting to learn about this and experiment with it in this era of being spoiled with every type of product, even the most useless... thank you very much for enriching us and thank you for your work made up of so much commitment and love. Know that it is noticeable
