During a visit to the charming village of Pietrelcina, we had the pleasure of having lunch in a restaurant that made our experience even more special. From the first moment we were welcomed with great cordiality and a family atmosphere that made us feel immediately at home. The menu, full of typical dishes of the Samnite tradition, is a true tribute to the local cuisine. We tasted a mixed appetizer with local cold cuts and cheeses, followed by a first course of fresh homemade pasta with porcini mushrooms: simply delicious! The second courses, based on local meat, were tender and well seasoned, accompanied by seasonal side dishes. The authentic flavors, the quality of the ingredients and the care in preparing the dishes can be felt in every bite. Even the wine, a local Aglianico recommended by the staff, turned out to be an excellent choice. The quality-price ratio is more than honest, and the service was always attentive and smiling. A restaurant that really deserves a stop, perfect for those who want to discover the real Campania cuisine in a relaxed and genuine environment. Eravamo in otto. Splendida giornata, siamo stati accolti con affetto. La location è accogliente e calorosa. I primi ordinati sono stati di una bontà eccezionale. Io non ho mangiato gli spaghetti con la colatura di alici perché io non mangio pesce (Giulia) ma a dire dei miei familiari è stata....uaooo. Idem per i secondi, qualità e materie prime eccellenti. I complimenti vanno anche alla piccola aiutante, Gioia, che ci ha allietati con i suoi sorrisi ed occhioni dolcissimi. Che dire più, da rifare anche perché siamo stati divinamente bene.
