We had lunch there today. First, caponata with swordfish (absolutely delicious!!!), then strangolapretti ai frutti di mare for me and frittura mista for my husband. Really very tasty and also reasonably priced. Good, attentive service. And the view, right by the sea, is magnificent. We'll be back!

The pizza was delicious, as was the tiramisu. The meat was also very good. Generous portions. Rosé is not very well-known. Service was quick and friendly. The ambiance could be improved a bit in terms of lighting; it's currently very bright with large lamps. It could be a bit more atmospheric.

We visited this restaurant one evening in September. The location is nice, perhaps due to the number of seats, but a little on the intimate side. There's an outdoor area with a sea view and a children's play area. As mentioned, the seating is quite large, which is perhaps why the service left something to be desired. After the first course, we ordered mixed fried fish; when it didn't arrive, we called a second waiter, and then a third, who confirmed that the order hadn't reached the kitchen. Otherwise, the food was good but not exceptional, and the price was average.

A pizzeria and restaurant located on the Sant'Agata seafront. Spacious, especially in the summer when the outdoor seating (about 400) is added. Service is efficient and fast, even when the restaurant is full. The restrooms are clean, not just at the start of the meal, and always stocked with the essentials for washing and drying your hands.

After almost two weeks in Sicily, we finally found a restaurant where we felt comfortable from start to finish. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, and the staff is very polite and helpful. We paid around €50 for our dinner, which included wine, water, salad, and dessert with coffee, for two people. That's more than fair. We'll definitely be back...

20/10/2025: We have been there twice, and only ordered pasta. In my opinion they have the best pasta in the area as a home restaurant.
12/10/2025: The food is not special, the portions are small, but it is expensive. Maybe because it is surrounded by hotels and villas.

Ristorante il Grande Pino

22/11/2025: We went to the restaurant for lunch. It was quite late (almost 3 pm) and the service was wonderful. Santino and his wife are lovely; they recommended what to order, and everything was spectacular. Great food, great service, and a personal touch that was simply unbeatable. Everything we ate was of excellent quality, and the recommended wine was equally good. The restaurant is beautiful, with a fantastic garden and a giant pine tree over 300 years old, which Santino personally showed us. You couldn't ask for more; the service was outstanding.
17/08/2025: The location is truly beautiful and well-kept: it's a real shame to find the weather bad on August 15th and not eat outside. The fish is fresh, certainly well-frozen and of high quality, but it's prepared without imagination, without that special something that makes you remember it. With two bottles of wine, appetizers, and a first course, we spent €50 per person (considering we had three small children). Dessert needs rethinking: the flans are fine, but the crème brulee and freshly defrosted cheesecake aren't up to par with the place, and especially the bill. The service is truly lame (missing menus, endless waits for dessert, lack of coordination, sloppiness). There's no parking: you have to park in the middle of the street. I don't think we'll be back.
