neighborhood seafood restaurant at reasonable prices. You can opt for the unlimited buffet or an à la carte menu. Excellent food, exceptional value for money, exquisite staff, as well as the Maître d' and the owners. Recommended!

My sister's birthday celebrated in the best way. Excellent choice for delicious dishes, my choice for a delicious seafood appetizer, delicious ravioli with scampi cream and excellent fried fish. Impeccable service. As soon as I have the opportunity to return to Rome I will definitely return to try other dishes.

Consigliato da amici, siamo andati in settimana a pranzo, in questo ristorantino. Attirati dal menu a 14,00 euro a buffet, siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti, dalla qualità del cibo e dalla gentilezza del personale. Super consigliato Emiliano e Manola

assolo mare: ottimo cibo, ambiente pulitissimo e rilassante, bagni puliti e profumati, personale Gentilissimo, buffet illimitato, dagli antipasti sino ai secondi, compreso pure il dolce, da bere 1 bicchiere di vino bianco o rosso, acqua liscia e gassata, e per finire 1 caffè e a scelta pure 1 amaro o 1 limoncello o 1 grappa, tutto alla modifica cifra di 14 euro a persona a pranzo, la sera 22 euro a persona, che dire di più, eccezionale. grazie mille di esistere.

26/07/2025: Really good cacio e pepe con tartufo. Generous serving with lots of truffle shavings but truffle wasn’t so overpowering like it is when a chef uses truffle oil instead. Of course, the pasta was perfectly al dente and sauce was a light and creamy emulsion. Service was very friendly, food was ready very quickly. You sit at a table in the middle of the food hall, so it was a bit too loud to talk without yelling, but was great to have table service for drinks from any of the beer/wine/drink bars in the Mercado. Really liked that I could have my pasta while my husband had something completely different from another stand.
03/07/2025: A pasta restaurant specializing in truffle. I ordered carbonara and red. I forgot the name. It's expensive because it's near the station. But it's worth trying once. The sauce is very thick and delicious.

26/07/2025: I recently had the pleasure of dining at a truly excellent osteria. The quality of the food was impeccable, the staff extremely courteous, and the location was ideal, just a two-minute walk from the Colosseum. On my next visit to Rome, I will definitely return to this restaurant, where you can enjoy authentic Roman cuisine.
20/07/2025: A three-minute walk from the Colosseum, among many largely "touristy" establishments, Hostaria da Nerone stands out like an oasis of Roman authenticity. Traditional Roman dishes, extra-large portions, a quaint, hospitable, and welcoming atmosphere. Reservations recommended. We had lunch with three carbonaras, a cacio-pepe, three liters of water, and two coffees. Total: €70. Frequented by locals. Recommended.
