My wife looked at reviews and felt we would give this a try and they also had food on there my daughter would give a go, the staff gave time to choose and didn’t feel rushed and felt welcome unlike Some restaurants we tried in Rome , and later in the evening the staff put a show of singing with wine and one member of staff gave a gladiator re enactment , fun and not imposing, would definitely recommend as the food was very nice and fresh

We were so happy to be ableto eat at this restaurant. The staff was friendly, welcoming and making aure we felt relaxed. Then the food was amazing. When i come to Rome i will revisit this restaurant again for their great food

Quiet in May, perfect for a relatively cheap dinner out. Had the carbonara and was absolutely lovely, staff are polite and attentive. Just the perfect place really.

It was a pleasant surprise to find a cafe with Ukrainian-speaking staff actually in the center of Rome. Delicious cuisine. Very friendly and hospitable ^_^

So glad we found this place on our first night in Rome.Firstly the staff are so happy , friendly and funny and really make you welcome… coupled with the fact the food was delicious and plentiful.They were very busy and a large group was arriving as we left, this speaks for itself how popular this place is .So Thankyou from myself and Grandaughter for a pleasant first evening Sergio and sorry I did not see your name the guy waiter with glasses ,but all the staff seemed happy too .

09/05/2025: A true local gem, a pasticceria from 1906! Every biscottino is delicious. It’s like traveling to the past, the shop is extremely taken care of.
22/04/2025: Small but illustrious temple of biscuits of all types and specific cakes with over 115 years of activity and important certificates of merit. Quality, kindness reserved for all visitors and generosity invite informed purchasing, kindly guided by the lady in charge of sales. In the small, open-plan laboratory, the owner is committed to respecting precise recipes. It is a school of knowledge to enter. We also ship gift packages to Italy.

Al Forno della Soffitta

07/07/2025: The pasta is way too al dente for me. Beside that, i enjoyed all the food i ordered. The prosciutto with honeydew is interesting!! First, i was not sure but then i like it. Now i am craving for it. The Prosciutto from here is melting in your mouth very good! Our waiter is friendly. It is an elegant restaurant.
06/07/2025: One of the most well-balanced restaurants in Rome. Pasta, pizza, and main courses—all are genuinely delicious. The prices are average for the city center, but there’s no coperto. The staff speak English well and are flexible—for example, they can replace a side dish from a main course with another from the menu at no extra cost. I also overheard a conversation at the next table, where a guest was about to order several large dishes. The waiter kindly advised them about the generous portion sizes, helping them avoid unnecessary expense. To me, that’s a sign of truly thoughtful and customer-oriented service.
