Arrosticini Divini In L'aquila

Arrosticini will surprise you, the pasta is amazing (homemade!), the bruschetta is average, the quality/price ratio is excellent, I recommend it to lovers of good food and fans of arrosticini.

The place isn't very big, so I recommend booking if you want to eat. We had a truly wonderful time. For lunch, we had a bruschetta with Aquiliana sausage, which was truly delicious; some Pallotte cacio e ova (cacio e ova balls), which were also delicious; and a Tratturo platter, which included grilled eggplant and zucchini, two types of salami, prosciutto crudo, coppa, and toasted bread drizzled with a truly delicious olive oil. Everything was excellent. For starters, we had a Gricia, which was delicious and incredibly flavorful; and a Chitarra alla Pecorara, which was my first time trying and was very good. We also tried the handmade sheep arrosticini, which were incredibly tender and delicious; and also two liver skewers with onion and chili pepper, which were also delicious. Finally, we had a saffron tiramisu and a berry cheesecake, which were also delicious. The service was excellent, and for all this, including two still waters and two covers, we paid €73, which I think is fair. Final rating 9.2/10.

I've tried both locations and they're excellent. The best arrosticini in town, in my opinion! I recommend trying the first courses too! The place is small and always busy, so it's best to book.

I had dinner at this restaurant and had a positive experience. The atmosphere is truly welcoming and pleasant, perfect for an evening with friends. The appetizers were excellent and very generous. We then continued with the first courses and the arrosticini: both were good, but in my personal opinion, they were a bit too salty, which slightly overshadowed the flavor of the ingredients. The house wine was definitely pleasant. In conclusion, the quality-price ratio is fair and proportionate to the amount of food served. I recommend it, perhaps just by pointing out to the kitchen to be a little more careful with the salt!

The arrosticini were delicious, the best I've ever had. The carbonara was very good, and the bruschetta was delicious. Highly recommended.

Located in the heart of L'Aquila's city center, just steps from the illuminated fountain. The restaurant is small but welcoming, clean, and well-organized. Its style is minimalist yet essential. It goes without saying that the main dish is the infamous handmade arrosticini. The classic ones are fabulous, and the liver ones are divine! The staff are friendly and attentive. I will gladly return if I'm in the area again! Highly recommended. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food.
