We dined and slept in this historic hotel. The kitchen serves traditional Emilian dishes, very good and authentic, and their Lambrusco wine is also delicious! The waiters are very kind and professional, although there were some imperfections in the dishes: we all ordered two courses, but we weren't able to eat together due to the lack of coordination between appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The rooms are very basic; those on the top floor are quite noisy due to a nightclub next door.

An old, elegant restaurant. Excellent food. The only small flaw was the staff, who weren't up to par with the setting, the price, and their roles. They were very polite, on the surface, but they weren't truly attentive to the customers' needs. Perhaps inexperienced? Perhaps poorly paid? I don't know, but something yesterday didn't make the experience 5-star. I'm sorry.

Lunch as a couple with the Arnaldo tasting menu.
Everything here speaks of Italian: from the setting, a beautiful, understatedly elegant 13th-century building, to the efficient yet discreet service, to the menu featuring the most classic dishes of Emilian cuisine. Nothing seems to have changed in the restaurant's ninety-year history.
We particularly appreciate the quietness of the place and the respect for guests' privacy: in the room where we dined, the tables were set for four people, but each only accommodated two.
Don't come if you like innovation in the kitchen. If, however, you love tradition, this is the place for you.

Clean and tidy, the atmosphere is filled with vintage objects, a great mix of modern and antique.
Excellent service and staff,
a breakfast buffet worth trying.
The restaurant, however, is undoubtedly the real highlight.

A magical place lost in time and the tranquility of the plains, where you can dine in a relaxed and serene atmosphere, authentic, and free from pretence, pretence, or contemporary tackiness.
The food is authentic and excellent, as is the service. Nothing is missing. Especially authenticity.

As always, tradition wins.
The trolleys, the selection, the anticipation of flavors that we must not miss. If you've never been, try the tasting menu. Cappelletti, morels, roasts, boiled meats, cured meats, sauces, side dishes, extraordinary desserts. The service is kind and friendly, but it doesn't live up to the food. It could be improved, more attention. The wine list is exuberant. The bill is fair. If possible, ask for the private tables, only two.
