We didn't stay at the hotel, but we had lunch at the historic restaurant.
The menu offers a variety of fish and meat dishes, and you can choose from several tasting menus. An interesting summer menu is also available.

Wonderful restaurant inside, excellent, professional service. Excellent ingredients, meticulously prepared dishes. Divinely delicious boiled meat served with their mixed saline. Delicious first courses. Ditto the desserts. The meticulously maintained restaurant begs to be photographed, it's wonderful. The price is certainly not cheap...but it's worth it. The boiled meat cost €29. But the price is absolutely justified. We'll definitely be back.

It's a pleasure to review restaurants like this. And I can only agree with the many positive comments. I tried the traditional menu. Final verdict: nothing to complain about! Excellent quality, thanks to a confident kitchen and carefully selected ingredients, friendly and professional service, a beautiful atmosphere, and very attractive food carts. Fair prices for quantity and quality, with reasonable wine markups, all within an extremely well-stocked menu. Plus, the pleasure of tradition, which is evident from the first moment. No need to change!

Very traditional restaurant with a focus on classic dishes. The food was good and hearty, as you would expect from a place with long traditions.
Unfortunately the experience felt a bit impersonal, and the interior didn't quite suit our taste. Still a good place to experience authentic, traditional food.

I don't know how to describe this place other than as a "reference." The prices are high but not unreasonable, especially considering the quality of the ingredients used and the impeccable service. The use of traditional tableware is both commendable and appropriate, rather than those ridiculous one-square-meter "sombreros" with that sad little bowl in the center, used to save on the dishes and, more importantly, because you can draw on them like in kindergarten!

I celebrated my birthday at Clinica Gastronomica Arnaldo and it was a pleasant experience. The fresh pasta and roast beef were the stars of the dinner, but the appetizers were also truly delicious. Despite losing its Michelin star, the restaurant remains very good. However, I can probably understand why they didn't keep it: they made a few mistakes with our order, but these things can happen when a restaurant is very busy.

We had lunch at this restaurant in Rubiera, which has made history in Italian gastronomy by retaining its Michelin star for 50 years, despite a long wait for mandatory reservations. The wait was worth it.
Tasting menus with various options and à la carte options.
From the spugnolata, a sort of lasagna, to the triumph of various boiled meat and dessert carts! The wine list is top-notch!

Excellent restaurant with a classic Emilian menu that lets you relive dishes you don't often find in restaurants these days. I opted for a tasting menu that included a selection of appetizers (excellent homemade giardiniera), two first courses, a selection of boiled and roasted meats with artisanal sauces, risottos, and finally a selection of delicious desserts, not the usual ones you've seen and revisited. I highly recommend a visit.
