I don't know anything about the rooms so I gave 5 stars while for the service I only gave one star but not for the staff or anything else, but because they never answer the phone, I called the first time at 11.30am and nothing and then at 10 minute intervals and still nothing, it's 2.30pm and still nothing. just one question: Why?

The first impact, entering the restaurant room, leaves you a little taken aback, with 90s style furnishings and little room for creativity. In any case, the room is clean and spacious. The fact that it is almost always full and frequented by tables of friends and families indicates that the food is good. And in fact it is so. The menu is not very extensive and based on the castle tradition, however the dishes offered are of good quality. The crescentine are excellent and the mutton meat is excellent. Some good bottles on the list. Efficient service and decidedly favorable quality/price ratio.

Ieri ho pranzato in questo locale e nonostante fosse pieno abbiamo mangiato benissimo e senza tempi di attesa. Il cameriere è davvero molto bravo e attento con una memoria eccellente. Affettato ottimo con Crescentino e affettati, primi piatti deliziosi, castrato squisito con verdure al forno e dolci buonissimi. Consigliatissimo a chi non lo avesse mai provato.

28/12/2024: we had lunch for three. A plate of fried Crescentine with pickles, 1 spaghetti carbonara, 1 garganelli zingara, 2 scaloppine raw ham and cheese with a side of spinach and boiled fennel, 1 strozzapreti with vegetables, 2 liters of water, 1 / 4 of red, three coffees: €65. There was a bit of base in the coffee. A few local dishes made with care. Well heated veranda, clean environment, very well kept services.

29/04/2025: Excellent inn in the nature of the town of the same name in the Bolognese hills. Quiet hotel, excellent cuisine and beautiful classic-style rooms. Breakfast was decent. Nice managers.
29/04/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday 04/26/2025. There were 6 of us, welcoming atmosphere and excellent food. Of all of them, I'll only mention two dishes: super pappardelle, both as a pasta and as a condiment, and then wild boar like I've never eaten (not the usual overcooked stew to remove the gamey flavour/smell). Thanks also to our waitress who made us feel at home, as well as recommending an excellent Merlot from Valsamoggia! I highly recommend it, a place outside the city and with all the advantages of a place outside the city, indeed!

13/05/2025: 10/10!! We had a wonderful evening, the place was very welcoming, the food delicious but the thing we liked most was the welcome from Erika and the staff! This is a must try restaurant!
10/04/2025: Absolutely a fantastic find and recommendation by our hotel. We sat indoors, but you can do either. They were a bit slow to initially serve us, but once we got going they were very efficient. The food was too notch. The lamb was perfectly cooked and a great choice. Be aware of the €4 per person charge, no matter what you spend. Also... Just found this last-minute game changer — it’s an app called TwøDay™ that shows what’s going on near me over the next 48 hours. Events, activities, recreation, cool local spots, social hangouts, and more — it’s perfect when you're looking for fast plans. Total lifesaver.
