The location is beautiful and suggestive. We had lunch on the lake shore in a quiet and clean environment. The staff is kind and smiling. The dishes are really good you can feel the quality. The fried calamari is excellent. I recommend it.

I'll start with the positive things: clean place, everything for the bathrooms, a large car park, very nice place, good service, a good menu, good raw materials, excellent quality/price ratio. The negative things: the desserts weren't that great, the fried food was good, but I think they were frozen products. However, I will return and recommend it, both for couples and families

Luogo davvero carino, servizio impeccabile, super gentili.. Il piatti veramente veramente freschi e buoni. Abbiamo preso impepata di cozze e tortino di polpo e patate veramente buoni E x primo tagliolini al nero di seppia e paccheri al sugo di calamaro, straordinari e per non parlare del tiramisù, meglio de quello che fa mi madre... Grazie mille 🌹

The Ara Marina restaurant is definitely one of the best fish restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. I invite you to look at the photos I have published, because even just from the appearance of the dishes you can see the quality of the raw materials and the goodness of the preparations. Personally, I ate the cuttlefish ink tagliolini with swordfish and I found them delicious, very tasty but delicious and, above all, with a lot of seasoning (nowadays, this is not at all a given)!!! Even those who had lunch with me really appreciated everything we were served. The place, located right on Lake Piediluco, has a splendid view. The only negative flaw, there were many diners who smoked freely, which is understandable, considering that we were under a canopy outside the internal room, which looked directly onto the lake, but I believe that in a splendid and excellent restaurant like Ara Marina it is possible to prohibit all diners from smoking while eating. At the end of the meal, the dry biscuits were also very good, as was the lemon sorbet, perfect to end such a good fish meal. In conclusion, I would say I would definitely come back here more times!

27/05/2025: Minimal and spartan place in a characteristic location. Some tables inside and some in a heated gazebo. Traditional menu with specialty pizza sotto il fuoco inbottita. Friendly and fast service. Prices as in a higher level restaurant.
18/05/2025: The Sorelle Pesciaioli restaurant was founded in 1978 in the medieval village of Portaria, a hamlet in the municipality of Acquasparta (TR). One of the culinary specialties that distinguishes the restaurant is undoubtedly the “Pizza Sotto Lu Focu”, known in other areas of Umbria as “Torta sul testo”. It is a type of focaccia cooked slowly directly on the surface of refractory bricks located inside a lit fireplace. This focaccia is then literally covered in coals and hot ash, from which the name derives. The “Pizza Sotto Lu Focu” is usually stuffed with cured meats, cheeses, sausages and vegetables. We tried it with vegetables and sausage. We ate very well and spent very little. We ate out as usual, it is important to book and be punctual because the service respects the order of arrival. In the other photos: house appetizer, lamb offal, polenta with wild boar, ciriole with truffle, tortellini with cream and truffle, mixed roast, baked potatoes and pizza sotto lu focu with vegetables and sausage.

26/05/2025: The service was impeccable. The guy was very polite and helpful. The beer was very cold. I had pork loin in sauce and artichokes. The food was ok. Nothing special. I still think the prices in Italy are high. But that's not just the restaurant, it's the general situation.
25/05/2025: Quick lunch on the way back convenient to exit the highway, super friendly people, abundant dishes, good and with excellent prices. Highly recommended
