We were here twice. Overall very satisfied but a bit expensive. Food was very tasty, portions are not super big but the starter and dessert don't leave you very hungry. You definitely pay for the view too

Really nice seaside restaurant. Very friendly staff and the best food we ate this week on Elba. We took the octopus and the risotto (the latter space-age). Highly recommended

On Monday 5 August we had dinner at Acqua salata. Every time we come to the island of Elba, it is a fixed stop for our dinner as a couple. The raw materials are excellent and the chef's hand sublime. Attentive and attentive service, the guy in the room very professional. Exceptional fry, the best I've ever eaten. Friendly and approachable chef; at the end of dinner I greeted him asking him for some information on the exceptional frying. If I can make a small suggestion... the wine list needs improvement. Not up to the quality of the dishes and the location. TOP level

We enjoyed the food and the beautiful view. Unfortunately, service ruined our dinner. They were extremely slow to serve our second course (over 1.5 hours wait), and the waiters avoided us instead of letting us know of the challenges they were facing that night in the kitchen. We had even trouble getting more water bottles, as they forgot about our requests twice.

10/09/2024: Am Hang über San Vincenzo gelegen bietet dieses Restaurant einen traumhaften Blick bis zum Meer (inklusive Sonnenuntergang) und dabei noch hervorragendes Essen. Die Küche ist toskanisch, aber mit Rafinesse gemacht. Große Weinkarte, für jeden Preis etwas dabei. Netter Service, für uns war es ein perfekter Abend.
02/09/2024: Antipasto non all'altezza. Buono il primo e la carne ma le porzioni poco generose, sia la pasta che la carne avevano porzioni scarse. Bella la location e la vista.

04/10/2024: Favorite restaurant on Elba! Franco the boss is fantastic, always listen to his recommendations. Finally, anchovies in tomato sauce. :) Inconspicuous restaurant, cheap and yet so good. Big recommendation!
03/09/2024: In terms of food we are at excellent levels, home cooking and very tasty. Portions could be improved, even the side dishes. Unfortunately the service was very slow and it was quite annoying. I trust that it was a temporary thing given that whoever served us complained about the temporary lack of some element. He also makes pizza. Honest prices.
