I have known Apriti Sesamo for many years, since the early 2000s, and I have always appreciated their research into raw materials and expertise in preparing dishes for a truly always special menu.
The same attention and care can be found in the room with spaced tables for a cozy environment and truly impeccable service.
For years I have recommended it to anyone looking for a vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Parma and its province.
The cream of topinbur and cauliflower and the durum wheat tubes with cannellini beans and seasonal vegetables are exquisite.
You absolutely must try their tiramisu with cashew and carob cream.
The wines are excellent, also available by the glass.

Having arrived in Parma to visit an exhibition, as a vegan, I couldn't help but rely on the Internet to look for a place where I could have lunch without being satisfied with the usual two leaves of salad or a portion of fried potatoes. A brief exploration of the menus of the restaurants in the center (via Farini, piazza and via Garibaldi) had put me in front of an authentic triumph of every kind of animal to be put first on the plate and then under the teeth (from snails to donkeys, without, obviously, leaving out lambs, pigs, cows and various fish). Luckily my web search opened the doors of a special place to me: I just had to read "Open Sesame" on the door (as in the famous fairy tale from "The Arabian Nights") to enter a very welcoming and beautiful place from an aesthetic point of view, where I was able to taste extremely varied, appetizing and tasty vegan dishes. On the other hand, as the owner also made me understand, if a place that offers an exclusively vegan and vegetarian menu did not work at the highest levels of quality it would not have survived the wave of time, especially in a land where people, from an early age, grow up on milk and culatello... Congratulations to all the "Apriti Sesamo" staff: the next time I come to Parma I already know where I will go to eat.

Very good dishes and ingredients, pleasant environment, I will gladly return.
Only one reason makes me give 3 stars: upon payment I asked if they accepted Amex credit card, answer: "no, I sweat the money". A simple "no, sorry" would have been much better.

One of the best food experience of my entire life ❤️❤️❤️ as Hygienist and vegan my standards are really high but the quality, research and preparation of the food here it's absolutely top notch 🪄 all without gluten, butter and even no sugar in the desserts and they are out of this world. All framed in a beautiful relaxing environment, it made my day. Such a beautiful pearl and surprise in the capital city of ham and meat 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I have been a customer of Mimmo and Antonella for years and among the many things I appreciate about this place there is also the continuous variation of the menu. Every month it changes and it is difficult to find the same things. The only thing that remains constant is the quality of the food, the presentation of the dishes and the kindness of the service in a warm and elegant environment. And all this at a very honest price. Anyone who believes that a vegan lunch is sad, colorless and tasteless should stop by here. Your opinion will change.
