The sandwich flavors are quite varied and with very interesting combinations. I tried two of them (2a and 3a) on different days and liked them a lot: the bread is finished on the griddle, which makes it crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the fillings are very tasty, made with salami produced by the establishment itself. The best I tasted during my trip!

Antico Salumificio is a true symbol of quality. You can enjoy fresh sandwiches made on the spot, however you like. I love the finocchiona and it was exceptional!
Excellent value for money, especially considering we're just steps from Palazzo Vecchio.
Under the same ownership for over 100 years, this place boasts over 200 years of history.
Meats selected and prepared with great care: Mirko prepared my burger right before my eyes. 😘😍 I highly recommend it.

Excellent schiacciata, generously filled and with excellent ingredients.
I tried both the one with sbriciolona, stracchino, and dried tomatoes and the one with Tuscan salami, pecorino, and fig jam.
Both were good, but the Tuscan salami and fig combination was simply amazing.
The line was shorter than at nearby places, but the quality was guaranteed.
Prices were perhaps higher than those of its competitors (€9.50 for a schiacciata), but it was convenient because you could sit inside to eat.

Talk about an experience, crazy long lines that move faster than you’d think. Probably one of the best sandwiches I had in Italy … definitely a must stop in while you’re visiting Firenze bellissima!

We stopped to grab a couple of schiacciate with porchetta and other ingredients. The entrance where you ordered was extremely narrow and crowded, so we struggled a lot, and people kept walking right past us. The food was very oily and heavy, and it left a bit of a lump in our stomachs.
