I dined last night with friends at this osteria located in the small square at the entrance to Monteriggioni. I must say we ate dishes made with excellent local products. Something not to be underestimated: the knowledgeable, friendly staff and very fast service. Well done, keep up the good work.

A small restaurant located in the heart of the medieval village of Monteriggioni.
We had a glass of rosé, which was decent, and I opted for the pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale (€12). The dish was good, but the portion was a bit small, to the point that I was still hungry at the end of the meal—which is quite unusual for me. We followed it up with dessert. The price was reasonable, but the portions were a little disappointing.

We ate lunch and waited about forty minutes (the owner told us to come back, so we did, and a table was available). The service was quick, the pecorino cheese in the cacio e pepe pici was a bit torn, but the flavor was good. The spleen livers were excellent. The coffee was decent, and the price was in keeping with the location. See you soon!

Excellent food and excellent, welcoming service. Very friendly staff. The nearest parking lot is nearby, with a small climb. Otherwise, you'll have to walk a bit.

Monteriggioni is a tiny, charming medieval village. We chose this restaurant with tables overlooking the little square, where we started with delicious crostini accompanied by fried artichokes; we finished with stuffed rabbit (with artichokes) and a lovely glass of red wine. Everything was delicious in a truly poetic atmosphere... but the bill exceeded our expectations (€40 per person!).
