This place was a pleasant surprise. We wanted to have lunch here. All the tables on the terrace overlooking the square were taken, so we asked if we could eat here in about half an hour. They said yes, and when we returned, we got a small table on the charming and breezy-shaded inner terrace. (You have to book in advance if you want to sit on the square.)
The servers were very polite, the food was delicious. We had burrata with ham for an appetizer, and risotto of the day and vadragus pasta for a main course. The food is reasonably priced. We were absolutely satisfied with everything.

Everything was delicious!!! Super service!! Pay attention to intolerances, especially celiac disease... excellent traditional dishes, my daughter had pappardelle with wild boar ragù. Very good! My celiac husband had pasta cacio e pepe costroni, gluten-free and super tripe!!! I had tortelloni with truffle, a marvel for the palate!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Antico Travaglio is run by super competent and kind people. The food, typical Tuscan with some additions depending on the season, I have always found it excellent. They have both the internal room and tables in the square. Highly recommended Fiorentina!

C'ero già stato a Pasqua 2024 e si riconferma un ottima scelta. Cibi buoni, ottima selezione di vini, staff supergentile, servizio veloce, bella location.... il prezzo è nella media, ma qui ci si alza da tavola convinti di averli ben spesi.

Locale non bellissimo nella piazza centrale di Monteriggioni alto. Personale gentile, menu molto vario arricchito anche da pietanze del giorno. Abbiamo scelto degli assaggi di queste pietanze e poi un primo. Il figlio si è buttato su una fiorentina da 1.2kg che è costata non poco (90€) ma sicuramente di buona qualità e cottura. Abbiamo concluso con un dolce a testa. Nessun dubbio sulla buona qualità dei piatti e del servizio. Prezzi sopra la media, ma ogni tanto si può fare.
