This is not just a place to eat tiramisu; it's a pilgrimage for anyone who truly loves the dessert. This is THE birthplace of tiramisu, and if you are in Treviso, this is the one place you absolutely must visit.
I came all the way from Singapore, as tiramisu is my favorite dessert in the world. Unfortunately, on the day of my visit, the shop was closed for renovations. I was heartbroken, but then something incredible happened. One of the chefs, Paolo, saw me standing outside and, with incredible kindness, invited me in.
Even though the shop was closed, he served me a perfect slice of their tiramisu. It was light, airy, and truly perfect—undoubtedly the most delicious tiramisu I have ever eaten. You can taste the history and passion in every spoonful. It's clear that the creators of this wonderful dish, now loved worldwide, poured their hearts into it.
What happened next speaks volumes about the warmth and generosity of the staff. When it came time to pay, Paolo graciously refused to accept any money, despite our insistence. It was a beautiful example of Italian hospitality and a moment I will never forget.
Paolo, thank you so much for making this trip so special for me and my family. This was more than just a dessert; it was a perfect, unforgettable experience to end our Italian trip. Ciao!

Beautiful location, excellent service, and good food. The tagliolini cacio e pepe are truly special!
Prices are average for this type of restaurant.
I was, however, disappointed by the much-vaunted tiramisu! It's more like a parfait with cream—a real shame!

A place you can easily skip. We came to have a bite to eat and try the tiramisu since it originated here. Waited quite a long time for the waiter, ordered a starter, more precisely a sandwich and then waited over 40 minutes more...In the end we gave up on that food and just tried the tiramisu. Tiramisu was just passable, I definitely wouldn't have it again, especially at this price (9 EUR).

Claim to be where the tiramisu was invented, expected it to be a homey cozy kinda of establishment but turns out to be a middle to high end restaurant.
The restaurant has no problem with people just coming and sitting down for a tiramisu and a drink, very friendly waiter that speaks decent English.
Ordered 2 tiramisu for my partner and I, a macchiato and a glass of white wine; Tiramisu is not one with strong flavours, instead of coffee liqueur they use quite a mild tasting coffee, impeccable texture for the egg cream and rich cocoa. This is a tiramisu perfect for people who doesn't like coffee or desserts that are too sweet, along with a coffee makes the perfect afternoon.
Also one of the best coffees ive had in my stay in Treviso, and a wide selection of house wines.
The restaurant is located within a cave of buildings walled with 3 sides of the classic colourful italian architecture, a quiet corner of the city, immaculate atmosphere and definitely worth a visit.

This restaurant claims to have invented tiramisu, and the food is truly delicious. It's not sweet, which Chinese people understand as the highest praise for a dessert, perhaps thanks to the generous cocoa powder on top.
The menu also recommends a sweet red wine with the tiramisu (the last item on the menu) which is also fantastic and definitely worth a try.
The prices are indeed higher than you'd expect from a typical dessert shop: 9 euros for the tiramisu and 8 euros for the sweet red wine, but considering they don't charge a seating fee, I'm willing to pay for the unique dining experience. Of course, if the prices were lowered, I'd probably order more.

Every dish is a surprise. The tartare is excellent, the mushroom and seaweed ramen is surprising, and the eel and fig leaf risotto is unique. The prices are high, but the experience is worth it.

Siamo stati tante volte con amici di Treviso in questo fantastico ristorante, devo dire veramente notevole: location favolosa sala arredata elegantemente luci soffuse
tavoli molto distanti poltroncine comode e veduta sul canale romantica. Menu ottimo ( consigliato
