Antico Pignolo In Venezia

Came here for New Year’s Eve. Wonderful food and drink, the gnocchi with truffle was outstanding, and they were incredibly kind with our daughters, making them a special tomato pasta 🍝

We had dinner in the garden and the place was very pleasant. Faultless attentive service. Our dishes were OK but nothing more. Quantities are very small.

A few steps from Piazza San Marco, located in a narrow street, this restaurant is a triumph of elegance and luxury and a dehor is also available for outdoor dining. The fresh fish dishes are traditional Venetian dishes cooked in an excellent manner, including the pasta. homemade, highly recommended, the wine list really stocked with any bottle you want, impeccable 5-star service.

Only regret of our visit is that we didn’t go sooner. Excellent food and excellent service.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who visited one year ago. His recommendation was spot on. It was one of the best meals we've ever had. Seafood sampler appetizer was excellent. Wine recommendations were well matched. We were treated as old friends even though it was our first visit. Ask for the special lemon sorbet dessert!

We have known Juri, who currently manages the restaurant for many years. He worked in the past for another restaurant in Venice that was delicious. Since his departure, this other restaurant went down. This is my own assessment as this is not a topic I would have raised with Juri. I told my family that any place where Juri works was bound to be fantastic and this was fully confirmed in the case of Antico Pignolo. Was our best food during our 15 day stay in Italy. Needless to say, the service was exceptional. Thank you Juri for being so professional and attracting quality around you!
