Antico Pignolo In Venezia

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The place is truly elegant and beautiful, and the staff was exceptionally kind and professional. Our waiter spoke several languages and made us feel very comfortable by speaking with us in both English and Spanish. At first, I hesitated to go in because the restaurant was empty and the prices were a bit higher than other nearby places. However, once the food arrived, we realized it was absolutely worth it. The portions were generous and perfectly sized for one person, and the quality and flavor of the food were outstanding. Everything from the presentation to the taste was excellent. We gladly give this restaurant 5 stars in every category and would happily return.

Let me start by saying great service. The drinks are a little pricey, which we knew before going. The food was amazing, try the pasta with garlic, pepper, anchovies, etc… so good! The place is just off the tourist lane, but easy to find. I don’t think there is a bad thing on the menu.

I found this beautiful place walking back to my hotel from a day of exploring. I wasn’t sure if I was even going to have dinner, but I saw the Michelin sign outside and there were a few Venetian specialties I had wanted to try so I took my chance. Everything was absolutely perfect!!!! The friendly service, the masterful food, the ambience and the excellent choice of post bop Jazz in the background. And…the price and value was excellent! Go here, you will be happy you did!

Very friendly service. Lovely atmosphere. The Chianti was good. The food was too. The pheasant tartare was prepared at the table with the spices we had chosen beforehand. Delicious. Gluten-free bread was also available.

Just a few minutes from Piazza San Marco, I found a surprisingly authentic restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service attentive without being intrusive, and the food is truly delicious, especially the seafood specialties. Excellent quality, even in an area where authentic restaurants are often hard to find. Perfect for a quiet dinner after a day in Venice.

Best meal I've had during my Italy vacation. Everything was great. Properly seasoned food, great portion sizes, amazing service, and perfect atmosphere. If you can only eat at one restaurant in Venice, you can't go wrong with this one. Would absolutely return for another meal.
