Family atmosphere, hospitality and service are good 😊. As for food, I have always eaten for lunch, excellent appetizers full of excellent cured meats. The meat is excellent, you can buy it next door, there is a butcher's shop which offers quality and excellent prices. Personally I didn't eat the first courses, which are abundant on the plates.... The price is affordable in line with quality and service.

Good food for a bar. Pistachio pasta was sweeter, lacked spices. Unripe tomatoes, not very good. Pork steak and fries delicious

Good evening, we went there this evening, 7-9-24. and also today 10-11-24 The place is on the street. Mainly you see the butcher's shop with a meat counter. adjacent there is the cured meats and cheese counter with a resale of homemade bread. Adjacent to this butcher's shop connected by doors, you enter the pizzeria pub. The pizzeria itself also has entrance doors separate from the butcher's shop. Suitable for families and groups. The place has quite good large tables outdoors and indoors. Waiting staff ok, very professional. Good prices. Go there and try it. Good lunch or dinner, closed on Mondays. Update: Everything, wonderfully good. Very good meat... staff ok, try it.

Piatti semplici ma buoni. Il menù non è ricco, a far da padrone appunto è la semplicità dei piatti. Gentilezza del personale al top. Tempi di attesa nella media. Abbiamo preso dei maccheroni al sugo, buoni. Le tagliatelle ai funghi un po’ insipide, ma nel complesso buone anche quelle. Grigliata di carne buona. Prezzo equo.

20/10/2024: It is a magical place. Very quiet and well maintained. The hotel is very well located for a trip to the south side of Mount Etna. The beds are good. And the dinner in the hotel is really fantastic. (A little more expensive but appropriate for the service and quality) There is a pool table and lots of great places to sit and relax. The pool was still open but of course no longer warm (stay in October). You can take a short walk in the adjacent chestnut forest. The hotel owner is very friendly and gives great tips. For us, the best stay in Sicily. Highly recommended.

17/02/2025: Perfect ! Warm welcome, attentive staff, the dishes are delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant during your stay in Castaglione! Open Monday!!! A very nice local wine list 👍 the best pasta alla norma I have tasted!
11/01/2025: I didn't know this restaurant because I'm not local, I booked online as I had to spend New Year's Eve in Caltagirone, we needed a restaurant for the 31st. Unfortunately my family and I had an unwelcome welcome, our reservation wasn't shown, even though I had already given a deposit the week before. So they made us wait standing for a good half hour, they improvised a table for us, taking a plastic one outside, and they made us sit down, after about ten minutes, they made us sit at a table that they thought was booked by someone else, and instead it was ours. What I object to is not the inattention because it can happen especially on a party evening, but the way we were treated, there was no reassuring and courteous attitude on their part so as not to make us want to run away with our feet high. , that is, there was no professionalism in clarifying the matter, they made us feel like intruders and it's not nice, especially if you're not local. The dinner was not much appreciated by any of us, fortunately the price was not very high. Caltagirone is wonderful, but I wouldn't say the restaurant is right
