We've heard about Altamura bread from friends every year, so we paid it a visit, a step back in time. The bread and other products like pizzas and focaccias are excellent, an experience to repeat and I recommend it.

Santa Caterina isn't just a bakery, it's history!
A must-see for anyone passing through.
An extraordinary experience. We tried bread, focaccia, taralli, and desserts, and everything was delicious.
A special shout-out to Matteo, a helpful and kind man who takes care of the outdoor tables.

The focaccia barese and bread are nothing short of excellent, a dream. The staff is incredibly kind, especially Michele, who sat us down to eat the focaccia at the tables available for the restaurant, and gave us complimentary taralli and a fabulous dessert. If you're in Altamura, you absolutely must try it!

What an incredible place! It holds fond memories for me because my grandmother also makes bread in the oven.
It's all very delicious and flavorful. It may seem simple, like tomato bread, but it's delicious and delicious.
Not to mention the story behind the place.

Fantastic experience, excellent focaccia, of various types.
The rustico with ragù was out of this world, the parmigiana was excellent, and the dessert was simple but incredibly good.
(I don't have any photos of the focaccia because they were pulverized, but the dessert is there.)
