Antico Convento In Trieste

an absolutely unique place. one of the few with preserved original interior. wooden buildings, chandeliers as if taken from the Titanic, details in the grooves or old posters or labels on bottles in the display windows create the atmosphere of this place. it is worth visiting precisely because of the characteristic decor, which creates a unique atmosphere. wood combined with burgundy finish, golden accessories warming the interior, tables placed in shutters. in addition, delicious monoportions, as beautiful as the interior. time has literally stopped here - not only in terms of vintage decorations, but also because you do not feel the passage of time and you can linger. be sure to add this cafe to your "must see in Trieste" list!

yummy local pastries and great macchiato! Not a ton of space inside but there’s a small outdoor seating area too and it was not busy when we went at around 8:30-9 am
