Antico Calice In Venezia

We each got a plate of risotto, followed by a grilled fish dish for two. Everything was delicious, especially all of the different grilled fish, but that could have easily fed four. Would highly recommend!

As a Venetian I can assure you that you eat and drink top notch, everything is exquisite and the service is excellent.

The happiness is indescribable. Great food, super professional service. We ate an excellent steak, excellent spaghetti Bolognese and...amazing desserts.

We returned again to this fantastic restaurant, once recommended to us by a gondolier and frequented by Venetians. The raw seafood was exceptional. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were fair.

Antico Calice VE is a restaurant that is often rumored to be frequented by local fishermen, and the quality of the food makes that reputation very believable. The atmosphere feels authentic and relaxed, with a strong focus on fresh ingredients and honest cooking rather than anything overly touristy. I ordered the squid ink pasta and the vongole bianco. Both were excellent, but the squid ink pasta was absolutely outstanding. The flavor was deep and rich, perfectly capturing the essence of the sea, and the pasta itself was cooked just right. It was easily one of the best squid ink pastas I’ve ever had. The vongole bianco was light, elegant, and full of clam flavor, making it a great contrast to the richness of the squid ink pasta. To finish the meal, I had the tiramisu, which was also exceptional—smooth, well balanced, and a perfect ending. Overall, this is hands down one of the best restaurants in Venice, and I would happily come back again. If you’re looking for truly memorable Italian seafood pasta in Venice, Antico Calice VE is a must-visit.
