A slightly expensive but authentic seafood restaurant
We asked the gondola operator where to go for lunch and he recommended here... we ended up sitting across from 4 more gondola drivers so we knew it was the right place. The food was phenomenal and it felt so fresh and authentic, as a food snob.

Truly a spectacular dinner with friends during Carnival weekend (so we booked). We followed the friendly waiter's advice on choosing dishes and wine, sharing everything so we could sample lots of dishes, and skipped the pasta. The appetizers were exquisite, but the fresh sea bass with potatoes was the bomb! Flavorful, perfectly cooked, the best I've ever eaten. The homemade desserts were also delicious. The service with a smile makes all the difference! 👏❤️😋

An excellent restaurant! We started with fresh grilled razor clams, which were absolutely delicious. The spaghetti frutti di mare was truly Italian, with perfectly al dente pasta and lots of flavor. And to finish, some wonderful homemade desserts. Highly recommended! Everything was delicious!

As a non-resident Venetian, but as a tourist, I found this osteria to have a lovely atmosphere and excellent food! I recommend the abundant and excellent spaghetti allo scoglio.

I love this restaurant. It was recommended to us by a jeweler. For a starter, we had polenta with squid. I've never in my life eaten such delicious, aromatic polenta! Creamy, tender, and white. You just can't get anything like it in Austria! The spaghetti was also delicious. It's a restaurant frequented by locals, like the gondoliers. Not a tourist trap like most of them seem, at least judging by their appearance on the busy streets.

I tried this place for lunch. The interior is very beautiful, with an old Venetian feel. The food is average, with traditional dishes that, in my opinion, lack that extra spark or flavor.

As a Venetian I can assure you that you eat and drink top notch, everything is exquisite and the service is excellent.
