Onverwachts op dit terras beland voor een diner. Wat we kregen was echt lokale gerechten met een bijzonder tintje. We hadden de zalm die op een speciale manier in wij bladeren en zuur ingemaakt was. Kort uitgelegd maar dit moet je proeven! We ook de roastbeef mooie eerlijke smaken. Kortom een verrassende aanrader als even echt lokaal wil gaan!

A blast from the past. The place is gorgeous, and the food and service are excellent. If you're passing through Bra, it's definitely worth a visit!

Ancient local restaurant, from the mid-19th century, very characteristic.. friendly staff ready to advise you on the choice of dishes on the menu which recall the typical local cuisine.. wide choice and normal prices.. in fact you eat well and don't pay a lot.. I advise anyone who happens to be in the area [as happened to me] to try the cuisine and admire this nineteenth-century restaurant.

Pleasant atmosphere, simple local cuisine, well-served, and a wine selection that doesn't live up to the reputation. Customer empathy, perhaps something that could be improved. The strategic location plays a key role.

22/08/2025: Lured by the menu featuring typical mountain dishes, we sat down. Service was a bit slow; they took 15 minutes to bring the menu (the place is small), and when we raised our hands to ask if we could order, the waiter wasn't exactly kind... Okay, let's move on. The menu doesn't list allergens, and given the limited availability, I couldn't order dishes due to my lactose intolerance. So much for lactose. The tagliatelle were good and homemade, although we could have used a few more porcini mushrooms, which were also fresh and good quality. The polenta with wild boar was very tasty and good. I don't think we'll be back, though, sorry.

03/09/2025: It's like stepping back in time with a family welcome and service featuring good, authentic cuisine. What a force the chef is! Enviable! Huge compliments!
07/05/2025: If you pay attention to the substance and are not scared by the entrance of the place which is a little retro like its interior, then you are in the right place. I found the staff very kind and helpful, I thank Guglielmina and her sister Paola for making us feel at home, as if we were at a family lunch. We started from the appetizers, really good and genuine, with the encore, to move on to the first course, homemade lasagna. As a second course we enjoyed some excellent lamb, truly tender and tasty, it literally melted in your mouth, accompanied by potatoes. The dessert was spectacular: a trio of three desserts with a beautiful, truly fresh final fruit salad. There was no shortage of coffee with a generous glass of grappa. For wine we had some barbera and some dolcetto. If you happen to be in the area I highly recommend it, don't forget to book and remember that the place is closed on Saturdays.
