For me, this is the best Roman trattoria in Garbatella. Excellent food and generous portions. There were 20 of us and we ate very well. I always love returning.

The true Roman atmosphere. The dishes are traditional and very good. It's a restaurant-butcher shop, so the meat is excellent. You even get complimentary appetizers. Friday nights have a fantastic atmosphere with karaoke!

Despite having a reservation, they made us wait. The appetizers were average, but the meat was good. Fast service.

The Antichi Sapori experience can be summed up in one word: Rome. Food from the best Roman tradition, expertly prepared by Daniele. Friendly and fast service under the supervision of Fabrizio, who is nothing short of a special person. Friday and Saturday nights are karaoke nights and lots of laughter, with a very diverse clientele... Fabrizio is an excellent "host" and, importantly, he sings beautifully.

Now a regular Saturday night, I'm captivated by the magic of the place, where everyone knows each other even if they're strangers, where the cuisine catapults you into ancient flavors and every bite takes you back to those flavors of home, family, your grandmother, your mother, Sunday lunches. Yes, you feel at home here! Fabrizio and Daniele are the perfect hosts, warm and kind, seasoned with lots and lots of laughter.

If you come to Italy, come eat here. Excellent food, excellent service and atmosphere. Sorry if these aren't the best photos, but we were hungry. 😋

Squarcia is now a Garbatella institution. I recommend anyone who doesn't know to come; you'll become regulars. The location isn't the most spacious, but it's still well above average...plus, we're here to eat, not to be designers. The service is extremely friendly from start to finish, despite the occasional confusion in the restaurant. What about the food? It starts with a welcome treat of fried boiled meatballs, amazing. I don't know if we were lucky, but we were also given a taste of the carbonara while we were deciding what to order, which was also delicious. The pasta with white ragù, which is fantastic, and the classic meatballs in tomato sauce are also highly recommended. All the portions are generous. Being a butcher's shop, the meat, of course, is equally excellent. The prices are very fair.
