Places always full, for lunch and dinner: you have to book, perhaps even in advance. But “it exists in Rome”, especially in this Jubilee year. The Ancient Flavors present themselves well as soon as you enter. Spaces a little narrow, but that's there too. The service is what you expect: beautiful, sincere, “de core”. The menu is a problem, especially if you like Roman cuisine: you have to choose, and then come back other times to taste what you weren't able to get. It happened to us that many courses were finished, but that's okay (and there are three). Everything is excellent. Tripe more. If you eat meat then you shouldn't complain about the bill, especially if you put a good wine on top and one bottle isn't enough. In short: excellent choice. A little expensive, but... it's okay.

If you go to Rome, a visit to this place is a must. Traditional Roman food with grandmother's old recipes. I recommend a small tasting of typical Roman dishes. Meat is indispensable because the particular care that the owner dedicates to his butcher's shop ensures that you get special cuts that are as tasty and tender as butter! The place has few seats so I recommend booking. Very friendly and nice staff...it feels like family! Thanks, we'll see you again soon!

Trattoria prevalentemente di cucina romana ma con porzioni minime. Nella media la cacio e pepe e la cicoria ripassata. Pollo arrosto senza infamia e senza lode, cotoletta di vitalla buona ma intrisa d'olio. Gentile lo staff.

Fantastic traditional Roman cuisine. Everything was delicious, from starters to desserts. Huge portions and really inviting prices. Highly recommended

I had lunch without a reservation and I must say it was an excellent experience. All very good, I ordered the amatriciana with boiled meatballs with chicory. There was a bit of a wait but while I was waiting they also brought us a small welcome appetizer with bruschetta, oil and salt and a boiled meatball. More than honest prices including the wine list with a decent choice of both reds and whites if you don't have high expectations... I will definitely go back
