Definitely a characteristic place, but nothing more. Passable service, obviously emphasizing the soft mode, but as for the food we were very disappointed. We ordered two first courses and then a mixed grill. Being basically a butcher's shop we expected top quality, but instead the quality of the meat was not good and what's more it arrived mostly burnt. So not satisfied.

Fantastic small family business with delicious local food prepared with heart. We will come again.

The place is small but we are immediately greeted by delicious meat-based appetizers. From the tagliapò to the meatballs and the Pagliata... all delicious... Traditional Roman first courses perfect. Delicious desserts.

I went to eat at Squarcia last Sunday. Atypical Roman trattoria, with "informal, truthful, typical Roman accent" staff and above all attentive to customer needs. Raw material processed little, therefore synonymous with great quality. Exceptional meat, and the luck is that, during the week, you can buy it directly at the butcher's shop. Highly recommended!!!
