The pasta was a little too salty, but good. The meat was excellent; the fillet (at least the one with mushrooms) was a more than decent portion of excellent meat, cooked to order. They even gave us a €3 discount just out of goodwill, and we arrived just as the kitchen was about to close. Well done, that's how they make money!!!!

The atmosphere is a bit noisy, but the food is still decent. Seats are limited, so reservations are recommended. A typical Roman restaurant in Garbatella.

Well, it's good, good, good, but the kindness, friendliness, and desire to please you at all costs already makes it a winner. Menus with a first course and side dish, and menus with a second course and side dish plus water for 10 and 15 euros, and they don't give you a small portion, but a giant portion!! All strictly Roman cuisine....it's a super YES.

Located in the historic center of Velletri, this restaurant welcomes guests in a rustic, warm, and familiar setting, where the atmosphere is authentic and convivial. The cuisine is home-style and faithful to Velletri's traditions: flavorful dishes, prepared with quality ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. The pasta is homemade, and it shows: authentic, flavorful, and with that artisanal touch that makes all the difference. Each course is well-cooked and plentiful, perfect for those who love good, old-fashioned cuisine. The staff is truly impeccable: kind, smiling, and welcoming, they make you feel right at home. Not to mention the wine cellar, stocked with their own wines: we tasted one of their wines and it was truly delicious, perfect for accompanying lunch. The homemade desserts were also excellent, a perfect ending to a quality meal. The only complaint was the wait between courses, which was slightly longer than expected. No big deal, though, because overall we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. In short, La Vecchia Taverna is an authentic, welcoming, and quality restaurant, perfect for those seeking authentic flavors and a warm, rustic atmosphere. Highly recommended for a pleasant lunch in the heart of Velletri.
