Welcoming environment in the countryside of Mongrassano scalo. Traditional cuisine and pizzeria. The mixed starter was excellent. Even better is the fried cod. The house red wine isn't bad either.

A family-run restaurant found by chance on Google. A really nice place away from the daily noise which, together with the well-kept location and large garden, transform dinner into a moment of true relaxation. We had a good time and were treated very well by the staff, always ready to satisfy every request and above all very fast (even if crowded). I can say that I ate very well even if taste is always subjective, and the cuisine here is typical Calabrian. In addition to a fairly extensive menu they also serve pizza... which is totally different from the Neapolitan one. As always, the classic Calabrian truffle is also present. To finish bitter is whiskey offered by the house. Parking is easily found outside the venue. I make a note (but not the fault of the owner or the staff who, however, in my opinion should intervene) when in the middle of the evening loud noises coming from the garden and caused by rude people (first the parents) ruined all the tranquility and relaxation. Playing is one thing, shouting is no good. This is a tip.....because here you can enjoy excellent quiet. Highly recommended

Ancient flavors and current refreshment. A restaurant discovered a couple of years ago, it is certainly a staple in our summer holidays in Sartano and the surrounding area. The strong point is certainly the location, located at the foot of the hills behind Mongrassano, in a stretch that is already countryside, ensuring a super pleasant remedy to the summer heat. The garden with the well-kept olive trees also refreshes the view and prepares for a pleasant dinner....while the large spaces prepare for cheerful wild runs by the children. The maccarruni with sauce (traditional) are certainly good and those who also like the pizza a little toasted (so different from the Neapolitan one), but I usually order grilled entrecote and this year also an excellent beef carpaccio. If desired, it also offers an honest seafood menu, while there is not a wide choice of wines. The family management makes customers feel at ease, so it is certainly the ideal place for nice tables with friends and relatives.
