VOTO 6. Sufficiente, nulla di particolare. Non ci tornerei, personale simpatico e presente. Porzioni minime. Antipasti di cinta senese = prosciutto. Mi domando: ma a Siena gli antipasti di cinta senese consistono solo in prosciutto? Qualunque sia la risposta se nel menù scrivi antipasti ci deve essere altro oltre il solo prosciutto da 16€.
Primi sufficienti, secondi anche. Mi sono alzato che avevo fame.

It's about a 3 minute walk from the center, so there's not much foot traffic. Two efficient waiters and chefs. Today's menu
There are recommended and fixed menus. The menu is mainly from Tuscany, but there are also a few from Rome and Lombardy.
The portions are reasonable and the price is right for the meal.
The pasta with porcini mushrooms and ragu is exquisite. The wild boar ragu and ravioli also had creative flavors and looked delicious. There is a toilet.
Lunch for four people: 4 dishes of pasta, 2 dishes of prosciutto, 0.5l of wine, water, and 3 glasses of espresso cost 112€.
The place was full at 1 o'clock, but there didn't seem to be many people making reservations.

Inviting atmosphere so stopped in for lunch on day trip to Siena. Off to a rocky start when we clearly ordered (pointed to it on menu and waiter acknowledged) one glass of wine. Waiter brings whole carafe. Had to clear that up with the one waiter who speaks English. Waiter brings out basket of bread which presumably is gratis, says nothing and other tables have bread baskets.
Food was good; we had one daily pasta special and one from menu. Our bill comes and we are charged for the bread X 2 (two people?) and charged for a carafe of what was most like tap water.
When we questioned the bill, it seemed no one understood English. Stick it to the tourist.

Delicious food (we had the carpaccio, tartare and lamb chops). Fair prices. Nice atmosphere inside and two tables outside (without sun!). Correct speed of service
Supplements: 3 waters in a not cold carafe at €6 and the price of the cover
