Antica trattoria Rosso Di Brera In Milano

Nothing to say about the cuisine but the prices?? Too expensive for what it is: 10th a small tiramisu, 34th a Milanese escalope WITHOUT any accompaniment…

Food was solala, risotto was super overcooked and missing on salt. Meat was okish but a little dry. Fennel salat smelled like nothing, not recommended. Waiters were okeish, had to tell twice for water and was on his mobilephone just in front of the restaurant. However, atmosphere was great. Typical italian restaurant and the above comments sound worse as they are. I would not recommend the place but I would not deny it eather.

We ate outside and it was pleasant. Some waiters were good and professional, others rather disoriented, the service overall was not particularly good. The dishes are good, but nothing unforgettable, nor the best in terms of typical Milanese cuisine. The prices are high compared to the quality they offer.

Trattoria located in a quiet pedestrian street. The service is not very friendly and unfriendly. On the other hand, the dishes were very good. Special mention for the tiramisu.

Average food, quite expensive and not so nice service

Without further ado, rich but without exciting. Good customer service, but a touristy place in the end, with inflated prices. We tried the Rissotto alla Milanese, which is a rich rice, but not very tasty. And we ordered ravioli stuffed with fish… which were well cooked and cooked, but not tasty again either.

Food was wonderful, service could be better

We were lucky enough to have lunch at Rosso, in the beautiful Brera neighborhood, and the experience was simply wonderful. The food was spectacular: we ordered lasagna bolognese and a pasta all’amatriciana (I don't remember what kind of pasta it was, but it was delicious). All with an authentic, homemade flavor, well prepared and full of nuances. The service was impeccable: fast, attentive and very friendly. I loved that the waiter knew how to communicate perfectly in Spanish, a detail that made the experience even more comfortable and pleasant. The location of the restaurant is unbeatable, in the heart of Brera, a beautiful neighborhood that in itself invites you to walk and enjoy. The place is cozy, clean (the bathroom, in fact, was very clean, which is always appreciated), and the white wine we ordered was delicious. As for the price, quite reasonable considering the area. In short: a place that I would definitely return to and that I recommend with my eyes closed. Siamo stati in questo posticino veramente carino a Brera , eravamo parecchi e ci hanno fatto accomodare nella saletta cantina veramente carina. Ovviamente quasi tutti abbiamo mangiato ossobuco e risotto e devo dire che la tradizione è stata pienamente rispettata, ottimi anche i taglieri di salumi e formaggi.Ottima anche la scelta di vini e personale molto cortese hanno reso la serata ancor più bella. Assolutamente consigliato , io ci tornerò di sicuro.

Posto elegante e raffinato. Personale cortese e preparato. Cibo di ottima qualità, soprattutto la carne davvero sublime! Segnalo anche un ottimo rapporto qualità’ prezzo, ci torneremo sicuramente quando saremo da quelle parti !
