I have been there several times to eat and on all occasions I have eaten very well. A place serving traditional cuisine that also offers reinterpretations and with an eye on lake fish, excellent quality like the wine list and the staff. In hot weather you can eat outside in the shade of a magnificent wisteria.

Sunday lunch in company (20 people) with children. They dedicated a special room for us. The quality of the food is good, the price is in line with the various restaurants/trattorias in the area that offer group menus. The only sore point is the children's part, they are clearly not willing to accept them and even their plate of BLANK pasta they paid for amply. A white/tomato pasta for €15 really seems excessive to me at the level of a starred restaurant (perhaps). The owner's response to the price was that all starters cost the same. I would review the friendliness of the staff and the price on children's dishes... for the rest nothing to say but I wouldn't go back

It is the first time I have come to eat at L'Antica Trattoria Piè del Dos and I must say that I had a very good time, above all they were very attentive to my lactose intolerance.
Price a little higher than the trattorias in Gussago, but excellent spit, only the birds were missing...
The spit obviously only with chicken, ribs and loin rolled with sage. Advised!

The trattoria has many advantages: reinventing tradition, using local products, having a gruff innkeeper, using lake sardines, not being obsessed with industrial Franciacorta bubbles. Defects? Few, perhaps some flavors need to be strengthened (tagliatelle with chanterelles for example) as well as portions. Prices from a good Brescia restaurant: no less than 50 per person.
Well done anyway.
