We came across this place by chance... and in the end it turned out to be a great discovery! We tasted some excellent traditional Veronese dishes, with homemade pasta and desserts, all cooked simply but with a truly excellent taste.
We will return if we return to this fabulous city!

After a day at the Hostaria Fair, this trattoria near Ponte Nuovo was a perfect choice! The atmosphere is welcoming and ideal for large tables. The polenta with mushrooms was a real delight, and the horse meat ragù won over everyone with its unique and well-balanced flavour. The service was impeccable, with super friendly and attentive staff. A stop that I highly recommend for those looking for traditional dishes and an authentic experience.

Had lunch yesterday with the family after some time, very positive experience, fast service, excellent food, very elegant presentation, fair price, the location speaks for itself being a "historic" environment. I recommend it and I will definitely go back. A tip perhaps more space between the various tables. Piergiorgio

I have been coming here for years to savor traditional Veronese cuisine. I highly recommend the gnocchi with pastisada. Well done to Matteo who took over the management after his parents, knowing how to keep the flavors of the cuisine intact.

Three at a time.
Polenta with soppressa and cheese (the portion of polenta is too small), bigoli with horse ragù, sliced beef, polenta with Vicenza-style cod, and a side dish of cooked vegetables. Water, bitters and a half bottle of Valpolicella review.

Questo locale è molto cambiato. La qualità è ancora buona, ma il numero di clienti (e anche il personale) è aumentato notevolmente, a scapito dell’atmosfera. La trattoria un po‘ all’antica a conduzione familiare che conoscevamo si è trasformata in un posto alla moda dove il sabato sera si cena a turni condividendo il tavolo con altri clienti. A noi è capitato il primo turno e ci è stato detto subito e ripetuto almeno cinque volte che dovevamo lasciare il locale entro le 21:15. Devo dire che così passa un po‘ la voglia…

Eines von vier Restaurants unseres Veronaufenthalts. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Innenhof wo wir einen Tisch bekamen. Nun - das Essen ist gut, sehr traditionell und handwerklich gut gemacht. Schade ist, dass es kaum offene Weine gibt. Man hat uns dann für ein Glas Weißen netterweise eine Flasche Soave aufgemacht - die wir dann zum Schluss auch ausgetrunkenen haben - vor dem Amarone. Der Service wirkt etwas unkoordiniert, da er dauernd wechselte, was es leider auch schwierig machte eine Beziehung herzustellen. Insgesamt macht man aber hier nichts falsch.
